We had an amazing stay, very comfortable and cozy. Everything was nice and neat with easy access to everything we needed including streaming services! The tea was a lovely touch to our mornings. Happily greeted by a friendly dog in the morning on the way to downtown which is a nice walk! Would recommend!
Room for improvement: Didn’t receive check in information until 1 hour before arriving after I sent message and called. No designated parking although plenty of street parking. Strange smell. No hand soap in dispenser. Coffee in open unsealed bag in fridge and sugar old clumped and looked like someone had put a wet spoon in it. No hot water the morning of our departure. Thank goodness we took our showers the night before. Texted contact about it but didn’t hear back. Only 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel and 2 regular towels for 2 people. No lamps or plugs by head of bed. What was good: Very cute and well decorated place. Very close to historic downtown and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Large shower. Good green tea bags available.
I was not there all day. But this place was so odd. The good thing is that at the very least it was clean. No parking at all. Had to park on the cross street with absolutely no view of my vehicle. Bathroom/toilet was in a small corner on top of a platform of tile. You could not help but stub your toe when you tired to use it. The pillows on the bed were horrible. They asked that you do not go into the back yard due to construction but there was nothing back there being constructed. The only communication I had with the host was the wrong code to get in, and a threat to charge us if the toilet was clogged. They claimed to have extra bags for the toilet trash but not only did they not have any, they fail to put one on the can itself. Sent a message thanking host, no response.
