"The Garten was beautiful! It’s right off of El Zunco beach and has steps down to access it. The restaurant’s food was delicious. I had plans to propose on the beach, but due to it being rainy season had to do an impromptu proposal at the hotel. Nanci was super helpful and accommodating with the proposal. Raul was our server that night and he was super nice, helpful, and patient with us. The rooms were beautiful and so cool! I loved our stay here. I 10/10 recommend and definitely plan on going back if nothing more than to thank the staff there for being so wonderful! Thank u for everything guys!"

"I booked this location as a last minute resort. I was not tremendously impressed with the room. It was very basic with just a bed and bathroom. No T.V. no refrigerator. The furniture was somewhat outdated included shower and toilet. There was no soap provided only some hand wash. The room had a foul smell almost as if it needed a dehumidifier. The location however is in a great area with very friendly locals. It is popular for surfers although I do not surf it was great watching those who did. The property has a restaurant that serves really good food. I was very pleased with the breakfast included in my stay. The ocean view is beautiful. The hotel is close to other well known areas. If you are someone who likes to surf this is the place for you."
