This was our second time staying at the house in Elephant Butte. The house is clean, inviting and located in a nice golf course community. The back porch has a beautiful view of the mountains. We will be back!

Nice home!

Turtleback Oasis is a very nice, roomy home located in a quiet location close to the golf course. The fire pit in the back yard is perfect for early morning coffee and late evening visits and made our stay complete. We will be back to stay again!

Great House!

The house was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Great location in a nice golf course community we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I suggest adding more forks, we cooked during our stay and needed to wash dishes frequently to have clean forks. I highly recommend this property!

Property was a 10 min walk to the golf course with a nice view from the backyard. It is very quiet and the shutters allowed for a dark room for sleeping. Best sleep I’ve had at a property in a long time! Nice soaking bathtub.

All went well, hot tub was a hit. Home was in decent shape, Toliet was broken in living area, BBQ grill was dirty and we ran out of propane but local representative for the property responded quickly. We would rent this property again. Thanks

My stay was just for me in this exceptional beautiful home! Just needed time away from my busy life and I found the perfect retreat! The home is beautifully decorated and perfect for families or groups looking for a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. The outdoor hot tub was simply perfect for the beautiful sunrise and sunsets and early morning coffee! Pristine and serene area with great privacy. I loved my stay, the best night sleep I had in months!!! I would definitely book again!

Driveway is very short and then found out that renters do not have the use of the garage. Had to park truck , trailer , and 3 bikes outside . A/C and heat is very noisy , especially in the two small bedrooms. It got cold and the gas fireplace had no "key" , so unusable. Good location and good views.

No passcode, would not answer calls. Had to ask VRBO to intervene to get us in almost 2 hours after check in time. No WiFi password or info in unit. Hot tub was very low on water and OUT OF ORDER, could not use at all. Sent download for WiFi the next morning, but could not open because we didn't have WiFi! Large cleaning charge, on arrival dying cockroach flopping around by bathroom rug. House itself was spacious, decent amenities for cooking. Games were useless as pieces/cards all missing. Not professional at all!

Is it very nice house there are a few little things that need to be fixed around the house but overall a very wonderful place to stay have stayed multiple times the first time the hot tub was not working but they did have it fixed a couple weeks later when I stayed the second time. When the grill had no propane messaged host and got propane the next day. Would stay here again

Property was great, owner/manager was exceptionally communicative, clean, great, comfortable beds, and sheets, toiletries and towels were provided. Ice machine was definitely a plus considering you’re at the lake. Views are amazing and the location to the marina and the beaches was exceptionally close. About five minutes. Highly recommend this property.

Nice House in a Nice Neighborhood

The house seems relatively new. It's located on a gold course. The views from the back porch are spectacular. The air conditioning worked very well. We did a lot of walking around the neighborhood. We felt very safe. The sheets and towels were clean. The master closet is huge. The kitchen was well stocked. There was even a gift bag with some munchies for us to enjoy. Overall it's a really nice property.

Not Clean

Unfortunately, the house was not clean when we arrived. There were dirty towels left from previous guests, the bedding was not changed, the grill was dirty, the kitchen had food and crumbs every where, trash was left, the bathrooms weren’t clean, dirty dishes were left, the floor was not swept or mopped. Even the couch had crumbs all over it. You could tell that no one had even attempted to clean before guests. We had to start our stay by washing the bed sheets and going to the store to get dryer sheets and Lysol wipes. Any time we needed to use something, we had to clean it first. Very disappointed. Otherwise, the house itself was nice and the location was convenient.
