"Had a service dog with me which made check in a little more lengthy. The room was clean and hallways were well maintained. Not a pet friendly stay so I will probably not go back"

"Stayed one night in a junior suite at Hilton Garden Inn North Shore and had one of the worst nights of sleep in a long time. The bed was extremely firm, and the pillows were completely worn out with little to no support. I woke up with extreme lower back pain. The room’s air conditioner made things worse. It was loud and oddly placed, with the vent right next to the bed blowing directly on me all night. The bar experience didn’t help. My martini was poorly made, as well as expensive. Forty dollars for two drinks and the bartender didn’t seem to know how to prepare a Cosmopolitan, which is a pretty standard cocktail. The room layout was also odd and not particularly functional. Overall, the hotel feels very worn. The carpet in the room was dirty, and the common areas showed visible signs of neglect. The elevator almost closed on me at one point and it shook loudly. This property is in clear need of a refresh. Would not stay again."

"Very clean, smelt fresh everyday the breakfast was amazing and the pool was nice!!!"

"Not one to review stuff all that much but my one night stay deserves a review . Bad: Was able to check in early as a room was available and ready (1:00 ) yet still had to pay a fee for early check in , I know it's not just hyatt that does this but it's still absurd , if the room is ready , why charge the consumer anything ? We were given our room keys and upon opening the door to our room we stumbled on other people and their stuff laying in the room. Very embarrassing, the front desk didn't really seem to be apologetic or seem to care which is also off-putting given the circumstances . The rooms and hotel itself need a major facelift. Good : Free breakfast buffet , anytime the word free is offered it usually is good , case and point here . Free parking is also nice as well . Overall its an ok peoperty."

"The room was clean and quite spacious. The view was lovely and I enjoyed my time here. The staff were friendly and cooperative. But there were no water bottles and shampoo in my room. The hair dryer was also missing. I asked for bottles at the reception and it was provided to me. Overall, the stay was great. Thank you!"

"The facility was decent. It was like brand new. The room smelled super stuffy. When we got into it ice machine was broken on my floor. Asked me where I could get ice. She sent me the first floor and then the first floor sent me to the third floor. Just kind of nonsense but not bad. All in all definitely worth the price. Although they did double charge my credit card. They charged me through Expedia and they charged me at the facility which was where I wanted to pay it. Anyways. I wanted to pay cash but they wouldn't let me. They made me use the card then they charge my Expedia card as well as my other card also there was no breakfast. There was no coffee. Nothing upon departure. I thought a cup of coffee maybe but no"

"It was a cheap room, so I wasn't expecting a lot. But when a non smoking room has a heavy cigarette smell like that, I have to speak up. That was not acceptable. Also, the shower featured pre-used bars of soap - so convenient."

"The whole place felt run down, like it was in need of a renovation everywhere except the front entrance. The elevator was very clunky, everywhere felt dark and dingy, and our room has a chemical smell similar to paint thinner. Our room also had mysterious carpet stains, hair all over the shower, debris on the "balcony" ledge, and a very old box spring mattress that needed to be replaced. We also were not prepared for a conjoined room, and let me tell you if you have neighbors with one of those rooms you will hear EVERYTHING. When I called the desk (I was off site) to let them know we were checking out early I couldn't understand the guy I spoke to at all beyond the question of what my room number was so I just hung up. We will not be returning here ever."
