Top Eliason Harbor Hotel Reviews
Baranof Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The property was centrally located. They had coffee available in the morning along with a variety of quick breakfast items for purchase. "
"This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious room and king sized bed. Smart tv was a plus."
"We were a little nervous booking a listing with no reviews but were reassured when we saw that it was being managed by Sitka Travel who have an excellent reputation and we were certainly pleased with their management. Any questions/concerns we had were responded to immediately and with complete professionalism. The home was beautiful and as it appears in the pictures. This is a two level home with two bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and family/TV/fireplace room downstairs. The main level (upstairs) includes the master bedroom/bath, living room, kitchen, dining and deck with a WONDERFUL view. The kitchen is very well equipped including a variety of spices, welcome beverages and coffee as well as plenty of extra cabinet space for your own pantry items. The home is located on a quiet street with sidewalks and just around the corner from SeaMart which was another plus. It should be noted there is another residence on the property (which was not noted in the listing) but it is set back from the main house and by no means makes you feel like you are sharing a duplex. We did have parking problems a couple times but again this was handled immediately and with courtesy. It would be an easy fix to add signage for the VRBO guest parking. We truly loved our stay here and enjoyed having enough space to host meals for our family members that live in Sitka. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again and highly recommend it if you are lucky enough to be in Sitka! :) "
