"We enjoyed our stay at the log cabin. The accommodations were as advertised. The owners were very responsive to questions. The exterior of the property needed its spring cleanup and then it would have looked like the photos. The screen was torn out of the back entry to the porch. There was hair in the main floor sheets. We really liked sitting on the porch and even got a visit from a fox on our last morning!"

"This tiny-home style log cabin was all we had hoped for. It is comfortable, immaculate, and extremely well-organized for storage and functionality. We especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, with the fire pit and hot tub right on the river, in view of the lock -- and under the stars. Comfortable, private, easy access to the river town of Bellevue, Iowa - with an up-close taste and view of the Mississippi River -- all for a surprisingly reasonable price. Highly recommended!"

"If your looking for a modern, yet rustic cabin then this is it! This cabin is secluded, yet still close enough to shopping and the grocery. I was disappointed that the games require you to pay almost a dollar to use them. Would rather they just increase the fee and not charge to use the machines or take them out as kids can go thru some quarters when it’s almost a dollar a game. "Leading up to our stay, the hosts went above and beyond to answer all of my questions promptly. We felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable in this home and the amenities it provided. I highly recommend this particular unit for its privacy as well, we felt totally alone despite being located alongside a small community of other residents. "It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!"

"Ensure you have AWD or 4WD and good tires. It’s a 10 miles drive on a very muddy/gravel, low maintained road with lots of holes. There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road. The tree and water fountain were very cute but there were 2 dead mice around the bottom of the tree, inside the cabin. The road/driveway outside of the cabin was pure mud deep mud.
