"Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. "Staying in this treehouse was so cool! It was clean, easy to find, and as comfortable as a tiny house in a tree could be. It was TINY though so I wouldn't stay there with more than 2 people (and be sure to pack light!) Its location is excellent. The space under the tree and the pavillion were nice areas to hang out in. We drove down the road to look at the Iron Furnace ajd went to the gift shop for ice cream each night."
