Summer Rustic Camping with AC and King Bed
About this space Enjoy a restorative and Earth-friendly camping experience situated on our quiet farm. Relax by the campfire with your partner or close friend and craft a delicious meal with the cooking essentials provided by us. Don't sweat the packing, simply bring a cooler and clothes and prepare to enjoy yourself on this little farm oasis. The space Disclaimers: + There is a beautiful stone home on the same property. Three lovely gentlemen (including my father) live there. They are very friendly and kind. + We did our best to seal the dome but there may be bugs because of the proximity to nature. + We have a compost toilet we will send videos and instruction on how to use. We ask you follow the direction perfectly for the best experience. It's not hard just different. + It can get very hot (summer) or cold (winter) in the dome because of the lack of insulation. Please prepare for this. + There is a main road about 1/2 a mile away which can cause some background noise during the night. We provide sleeping earplugs for those who prefer more quiet. + During the cold month of the year, we may need to turn the water off leading from the house. This will cause the shower to be unavailable. There will still be drinking water available from a water jug in the dome. We are working on a solution to the shower. Thanks!
STRAWBERRY HILL DOME/ BEDROOM + 12" Memory Foam King Size Bed + Lux Hotel Sheets and Pillows + Star-gazing windows, so you can greet blue skies, watch the rain during a storm and peer at the stars at night + Japanese Tea Table for mindful practices + Games and Books for nature lovers

BATHROOM It's outdoors, situated under the shade and protection of pine trees. + Compost Toilet (great for Earth, and not as scary as it sounds :) -- don't worry we provide instructions on how to use this, and it doesn't stink!) + Hot Water for Showering + Public Goods Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash + Running and Potable Water
OUTDOOR SPACES The Dome is situated on Strawberry Hill overlooking the farm, which we're slowly transforming into an orchard and rewilding with native trees and wildflowers. See if you notice any wild flower patches or the beginnings of one. This property has a stone house on the same acre so it is private but the house is only 50 yards away. + Outdoor Seating for 4 + Fire pit (we provide firewood too) + You're free to roam the farm up to the creek and tree line at the bottom of the hill Guest access Strawberry Hill Dome, outdoor patio, outdoor bathroom are entirely private for you! You are welcome to explore the fields and gardens. Watch where you step! There are many things growing. Other things to note We have one king bed. For extra guests we'd recommend bringing an air mattress or sleeping pad. We have some extra linens as well, but not in every size.

The owners were very attentive to our needs, and everything was exactly as advertised. We came up for a horse show in Maryland and the convenience to the grounds was exceptional, and everything was wonderful from the privacy to the beauty of the property.
The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring.
