"We picked Ellijay for a 3 day weekend for a quick getaway and somewhere that my husband could mountain bike. This was a perfect spot for us. The property is very well kept. The cabin is well stocked, had everything we needed, as is the RV camper. There is a large fire pit with plenty of wood. The little stream and bridge are a cute addition and you can relax in hammocks or the swing next to the stream. There's an extra building which I don't know what it is but it reminded us of a little old...

Sunday morning as we were getting ready to leave we were treated to a mother bear and her cub walking the game trail at the back of the property. "My wife and 2 boys stayed here for a few days, and really relaxed. The property is very private ( unless the house next door is rented) which was not. The creek is wonderful, my 2 boys splashed and played in the creek for hours. The house was very clean, a little pollen dust outside on all the porches, but thats to be expected this time of year, we have the same where we are in Florida. "We stayed at The Bowling Cottage for part of spring break. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, had everything we needed for our stay, and was extremely clean. We enjoyed bowling and billiards at our leisure. Communication with the property manager was easy and clear, they are very responsive and helpful. The grounds are equally as impressive as the cottage. We enjoyed walking trails, the horses, and the beautiful buildings. The location was perfect as well. We felt secluded in the country...
