Best VRBO rental ever
I’ve stayed at a number of Vrbo properties and this was hands down the best! The managers of the property were accommodating, attentive and extremely helpful. I could not know highly recommend this place. Absolutely beautiful and thoroughly impressive.

What a Perfect Getaway Spot
There were about 25 or so of us who got to experience the Lodge at Walnut Grove. To say it was above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations would still be an understatement. The place was spectacular and immaculate. Every detail and amenity accounted for. We were there for a songwriting retreat, and apart from the ample space that we had, it also was simply inspiring because of the sheer beauty that we were surrounded by. We truly truly loved getting to stay here and enjoyed everything about it - start to finish. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful place for people to stay in.

Best weekend Office retreat
We absolutely love this property and the high end details. Weather would never be an issue here bc there is so much to do. We really appreciated how beautifully appointed the home was for every guest and every bedroom and bathroom was amazing. Heidi and Dee were absolutely wonderful to work with and went out of their way to make our stay perfect! We 100% recommend this property for groups and will be back!

Amazing for our retreat
This was perfect for our work retreat. The space is large enough to accommodate several working meetings at one time and that each room in the main house has its own bath was a definite plus. All the information in the guidebook was so helpful for facilitating meals. We will do this again!

Fantastic place to stay
Our family had the best stay at The Lodge at Walnut Grove to celebrate a 75th birthday. The home was beautifully decorated and stocked with way more than we expected, inside and outside. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay and can't wait to visit again with our huge family.

Fall Family Wedding Celebration!
Beautiful property, inside and out. Wedding on the bridge for our 14 person group was perfect. Kitchen to die for. Every attention to detail, brought extra firewood and farm fresh eggs.

Amazing property!!
I brought my office here for a fall retreat and it was amazing. This property surpassed all other VRBOs I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail and proactive approach to stocking the house with items we may need was impressive. I had plans to do things in town but didn’t leave all weekend. We spent a ton of time at the outdoor fire place…it was easy since wood is delivered everyday. The quiet, relaxing luxury was exactly what I was looking for and that is what we got. Heidi did a great job communicating with me for check in/out. I will definitely be staying again in the future.

The most amazing place to stay for a work trip!
The house is amazing! They think of every detail from the comfort of the rooms, individual bathrooms, keurig in each room. We were there for a budget camp so the work space was amazing. Also the kitchen is full equipped with everything you could need. If you have an issue their response time is impeccable. We are already booking again for next year!

Incredible Experience for our Family and Friends
Our stay at The Lodge at Walnut Grove was truly memorable. The Lodge was immaculate, with exemplary attention to detail throughout the property. The craftsmanship is stunning and the furnishings are luxurious, creating a comfortably elegant and adventurous experience for our family and friends. We hiked all the trails, played in the creek, and used the grill, smoker and fireplace! The kitchen was a dream for our family and made it so easy to create a fun, easy-going atmosphere for our vacation. The property managers were easy and prompt to communicate with and attentive to our family. We highly recommend The Lodge at Walnut Grove to anyone wanting to create a special experience in the mountains of North Georgia. We can't wait to return!

You won’t regret it!
This property is absolutely stunning! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. We came for a family vacation and it was perfect. We had the best time and didn’t even have to leave the property. Sara was great at checking in and going through the whole house when we got there with us showing us all the things to do. The catch and release pond was a huge hit as well as the perfectly marked trails. We cannot say enough about how amazing this property is. We plan of coming back next year!

AMAZING
Walnut Grove exceeded all expectations! It’s is beautiful! It is decorated beautifully with top of the line furnishings., extremely clean and well maintained. Sarah, our host, was so accommodating as well. The land is amazing - we enjoyed hiking and walking by the stream. The property had everything we could need and more. Already planning on returning next year!

Amazing home - new clean - completely stocked with everything needed.
Will come back again! Best retreat location we have ever stayed at. We stayed for a womens’ retreat. All rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with more than one needed. Hiking trails lovely. All took about an hour - easy to navigate all clearly marked.

Exceptional!
Staying at Walnut Grove exceeded our very high expectations. The home and property are immaculate, the hiking trails fun, and the bedrooms lush and well equipped. We especially loved the shared communal spaces to jus hang out. We hope to come back soon!

Just Wow… Perfect Weekend Retreat!
So many amazing things about this property! First of all, the property manager Brenton is on top of every detail. From the fully stocked smores kit to the driving directions there was not one thing missing. Some properties you have to bring your own coffee, trash bags, etc. NOT HERE! There are hiking trails on property along the gorgeous stream and pond. The SONOs whole house system worked perfectly and there were robes in every closet. Cannot wait to go back again!

Shhh!!! Don't tell too many people this! As soon as word gets out, this property will be booked 24/7! They went above and beyond to caterer to our group! Property was clean, so much space to spread out! Gift bags in rooms, firewood brought to the door, fresh eggs...I could go on and on! We will be back!!!

Thanksgiving 2021
Incredible property with spectacular outdoor amenities. A sportsman paradise in the Mountains. Tom and Brenton both checked in regularly and ensured our stay was memorable. Fly Fishing and hiking on property was a real treat. We had ages 93- 10 staying and the Lodge easily accommodated all 16 comfortably in the main house. We will definitely be coming back again!

The ultimate comfort for large groups
This now ranks as my top VRBO experience. This property was immaculate and no detail went unthought of. This is the perfect place for large groups, especially when everyone in the group values having privacy too (their own bathroom, their own coffee maker etc.). There is not a “bad” bedroom in this house. All of the bedrooms have their own stunning private bathrooms. There is plenty of room for multiple families to comfortably stretch out. The entertainment area out back with the fireplace is perfect for gathering! Plenty of tables for large groups to sit at inside as well. The stream is absolutely beautiful and the pond is fun to fish in. There are also some beautiful hiking trails on the property, with wonderful views. The communication and customer service from the property management team is top notch. They go to great lengths to make sure that you have everything you need. We really appreciated the snacks, especially the local snacks that were there for us upon arrival! I can’t say enough about the fun things they made available for children too. Such a great experience!

Blew everyone away
This property is remarkable and in my opinion unmatched in north Georgia. As you enter the property and continue down the driveway with the stream to one side the house appears atop a small hill. Beautifully lit at night you know its going to be special and the house does not disappoint. Every bedroom is a master suite in other properties, every amenity is thought of and taken care of and the kitchen is superb. The outside arears allow you to drink in the valley and engage in conversation with friends and family. Whether a corporate retreat, a week or weekend with friends and family this house and property will not disappoint. The sign of a good vacation house is when everyone of our 11 person group did not want to leave. Thank you to the host who made the entire process from start to finish easy and was very helpful in helping arrange a few additional items we required.

Pictures don't do justice! Absolutely breath taking home & surrounding land! Customer service from property manager was incredible, leading up to the reservation and the days of the stay. We held a company retreat here and had the BEST time! From business planning to team bonding, we made awesome memories! We will be back again soon!
