Awesome time at Lazy Bear

My group had two families, 4 adults and 4 kids and this rental was perfect for our needs. We had a great time in the hot tub, using the fire pit and got to enjoy the community amenities as well. The kids especially loved the basement, called it their party palace. We also got to see deer everyday in the front yard. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

Work Travel Stay

My husband traveled to Elliljay on Business. The cabin was fine. His stay was fine. He had no issues with the cabin. He wanted to extend 1 night. We reached out to the host online and did not get a timely response so I tried to "Chat" with VRBO. Apparently, that is not a real person. I received canned responses. The quote I was given for the 1 night stay was outrageous. I have extended my stays in the past with other platforms and never had this experience. The cost for the 1 extra night was 40% of my entire cost for 4 nights. Checking out and not extending was the only option. Now the cabin is empty on a Tuesday night when the owner could have gotten another night rental on an empty calendar night.

Lazy Bear Cabin was perfect for our family because we needed 2 bedrooms on the main floor. I am unable to climb stairs and the primary bedroom was on the main floor. The cabin was a great size for our family. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. My son and husband enjoyed the hot tub as well.
