Beautiful & Relaxing
This property was as advertised. It was comfortable, cozy, and well kept. The property owners were so helpful and thorough with the information necessary for the stay. I would stay there again and again. If there was one thing I would change, it would be adding a tv to the bedroom(s). Although that is not everyone’s cup of tea, it at least gives those who prefer a tv in the bedroom the opportunity to enjoy that option. Nevertheless, this property still receives a whopping 5/5! Thank you ladies for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful home.

Bachelorette Weekend in the Mountains!
The cabin was the perfect size for our Bachelorette party! Everyone enjoyed it, and we especially enjoyed all of the streaming options so that we could enjoy movie night in the living room. We couldn't get over the amount of space available; all of the girls fit comfortably, and we had more than enough beds. We loved every moment of the trip; I will definitely be leaving a review and hopefully staying again in the future!

Awesome cabin!
I recently stayed at a cabin in Ellijay, GA and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The location was perfect for exploring nearby vineyards and downtown. The owners were also very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway in Ellijay, GA.

Early Christmas
This was perfect for an early Christmas get together with family. Everyone had room to breathe and the layout was perfect. The basement was great for the smaller kids to play and spread out toys, the older kids could hang and talk in the loft and the adults could catch up and talk on the main level. Dining room and kitchen is spacious enough for everyone to enjoy meals together and play games. If I have to give criticism, you may want to consider updating/upgrading the towels and washcloths and maybe a deep cleaning.

Mother Daughter Trip
The house was ok. The kitchen was adequate and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The lamp and outlet next to the sofa did not work so we used an extension cord I brought and shuffled around lamps. It would be nice to have light bulbs to replace blown bulbs in other lamps. There were not any beach towels as listed; only wraps but there were adequate bath towels so we used them. It would be nice to have a bath mat in the down stairs bathroom. This bath has a tile floor and a shower door that opens out leaving water on the floor which is very slippery when wet. We used a towel. The downstairs exterior door knob will lock but the handle pulls out very easily when opening. The location was excellent for our plans to visit Gibbs Garden. We enjoyed our afternoons in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. But we made sure we were home before dark so we didn't have to navigate the roads in the subdivision at night. No one ever answered when we called at the gate to check in but we got in following behind another resident. It would be nice if the check in process was improved somehow. The drive is steep and only paved up to the lower corner of the house. It would be nice if it was paved all the way up so that there isn't a break from pavement to a dirt/gravel surface with loose gravel. We decided to turn around at the parking area by the trash bin and back up the drive to the front door. With a few minor improvements, this house could be 5 stars and I would return.

The property was nice. We enjoyed the stay very much. Wish we could use the fire pit outside but due to the time of the year the fire alert was on amber and we wwre asked not to use firewood. The house was clean and confortable. Enjoyed the beautiful Jacuzzi outsoee as well.

Beautiful property. Adults and kids all enjoyed themselves. A bear got into the trash before our arrival, but the owners took care of the situation once we informed them. Overall, great stay!

Mountain magic!
Absolutely gorgeous rental, beds were comfy also!!! The whole house is roomy and well laid out for multiple people! We loved the decks and sitting outside eating and just looking at the view!!! Great WiFi usage! Any issue that needed addressed was handled timely by the host which is wonderful! Everything is stocked well and had plenty of options! Also loved the list of restaurants and things to do!! This is a great area with the large pool area included in rental!

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue where one of the kids locked both bathroom locks and the owners were super helpful (and it was late)! Close to all the places we planned to go! Would definitely come back!

Great Cabin - Private - yet close to others
This property was perfect for our family getaway - so we could disconnect from the outside world for a few days. Plenty of space for our family, and really 2-3 families. Great area to sit and be together, eat, watch movies, play games, and put together puzzles. Only negatives - no toiletries (body wash, shampoo in any of the 3 bathrooms - luckily we brought our own), grill wasn't in a great condition to cook on, and lack of description of the roads getting to the cabin. Luckily, we had experience with these type of roads previously, and had backup plans for all. The hosts are very responsive, and have set up this property very well for the perfect getaway. Would stay at this location again.

The cabin and surroundings are beautiful.
We enjoyed the cabin; it is very well built, all made of pine wood. The furniture and kitchen appliances are of very high quality. The kitchen floor and Fly room were dirty as well as the stairs going downstairs. It has three floors, three independent bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has several balconies with rocking chairs, surrounded by very tall trees. It was nice to seat outside on the rocking chairs; we saw deer early in the morning. It takes a mile to get to the cabin in a narrow road with slopes on either side. We didn't dare to drive when it was raining. Otherwise, the cabin is so beautiful that we didn't care that much. to the cabin

Everything was great! Only a few minor things.. we weren't able to use the hot tub the first night due to it not being cleaned but the owner was super quick on sending someone out to clean it. It just got too late to get in once they were done cleaning it. A few of the doorknobs seemed to jam a lot too. The listing mentioned an outdoor propane firepit, but we could not find it. Other than those minor issues, we were happy with our stay! Wish we could've stayed longer. The roads were definitely steep, so for anyone that's new to the mountains, just keep going & you'll be fine!

WE FOUND THE HOME TO BE PERFECT FOR A FAMILY GET TOGETHER. WE ALL HAD A PRIVATE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM TO ENJOY AND THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR MEAL PREPARATION AND WAS WELL STOCKED WITH EXTRAS. We had a great time for my birthday getaway! Had a couple issues with a shower & oven but the hosts quickly responded & fixed issues! We LOVED the hot tub… and we saw deer in the back every day! Also, we came in a Hyundai santa fe during a thunderstorm and the roads were not a problem to get up! don't let the reviews intimidate you! I was worried & it was no problem… just keep moving and you'll be fine!

We enjoyed the fireplace with plenty of seating in the living area. Lots of electrical outlets was a plus. Lighting in rooms was dim. Could be fixed by either higher watt bulbs in lamps or lightbulbs in the ceiling fan lights. Well stocked kitchen. Nice appliances. Need to replace can opener.

Well located in Ellijay. We went to Amicolola Falls and kayaking on river experience. Roads are very curvy and straight up the mountain. But pool was clean and well maintained at the club house and Jenni was available every time we needed her. Really enjoyed our time.

Quiet family getaway
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. Unfortunately, we were without power for about 18 hours, but the owner has generously offered a refund for the day. It is quite a climb up the mountain; room for three vehicles. The cabin is spacious with large rooms and gathering spaces; kitchen prep space is small but it had plenty of cooking utensils and supplies. (We were grateful for the grill because of the power outage!) It was great to have booster seats, pack and play and baby gate provided for the baby! Enjoyed time at the pool. Only a 10 minute drive to town and dinner at the Pink Pig was a highlight.

NICE FAMILY GETAWAY
Beautiful area and the cabin was equip with everything we needed. I wish I would of waited a little later to come so we could of experienced the Apple Picking, but we defiantly enjoyed Poole's BBQ and the family winery's. I was looking for a laid back weekend of just enjoying my family and that is exactly what I did. I seen several reviews about a horrible driveway. I have a Honda Accord and had absolutely zero problems. Go Enjoy!! you wont regret..

Lady's Only B-day Retreat!
This property was great for hosting my sisters 50th birthday retreat. The communications with the host leading up to our event and throughout our stay was great. The pics of the property listed online was pretty much accurate. We didn't get to utilize the fire pit or hottub due to our short stay but definitely wished we could have stayed longer to do so. Aside from minor cosmetic issues like: bathroom tubs could have been cleaned better and trash containers outside was not emptied. I would still recommend this location for nice quiet getaway and I hope to return soon!

This was a "girl's" book club weekend. We all loved the cabin. It was very clean and very well stocked. Loved the floor plan. The view was nice even in the winter. Liked it so much, I have booked it for a family weekend later in the year. Would definitely recommend it to others. I also appreciated that it was not priced extremely high, so it wasn't priced out of our range. As an old woman, the drive up the mountain was somewhat scary. And, also I couldn't figure out the call box. The instructions weren't clear to me how to call the owner to give gate access, and the man at the Welcome Center had to open the gate for me.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely setting.
We had a very nice time in this cozy but spacious cabin in the wooded mountains. Even though it felt very secluded, it was only a short driving distance from lots of fun shops and restaurants. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the views too. The beds were very comfortable, and we had fun playing the board games, foosball, and checkers.

Perfect stay for Thanksgiving!
We just loved this cabin and the neighborhood. We came for Thanksgiving and our wedding anniversary (we got married at the nearby Monteluce Winery) and we love the area this time of year! The cabin is perfectly appointed and very comfortable. We used the tennis courts, fished at the pond and a nearby stream, and I enjoyed walking the nature trail by the pond. We hope to return in the future!

First Class Comfort
This was a lovely place for our writing group to hide away for a few days of writing. Everything was clean and comfortable. Everything ran smoothly. Since our stay was all about staying in and sitting and working we were thrilled with the comfortable furnishings. We didn't go out much. but we did enjoy a few hours in Ellijay browsing in antique stores and having a restaurant meal.

The Walnut Mountain community offers different lakes and streams to fish from, a pool and tennis courts to enjoy! The cabin is right outside of downtown Ellijay and just short drive away from other awesome towns to visit and explore! You won't regret staying here!

Thanksgiving Traditions
We had a perfect Thanksgiving week at the cabin. The weather was ideal and we were able to spend a lot of time outside hiking(Cartecay River Loop is gorgeous), kayaking and fishing in the lake. This property is located in a great part of Ellijay. There are lakes and a waterfall that we enjoyed hiking to. The Cabin is very nice it's close to a lot of great stuff in North Georgia.

Great Getaway!
The house was very nice! Plenty of room for all 11 of us! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The drive back to the house was quite the experience, with some pretty steep hills but do-able non the less. We saw plenty of wildlife while we were there including 3 bears! Overall I would highly recommend this place. Owners were very easy to communicate with as well!
