"You know you had a good time when you are already looking forward to a return visit. There was so much to love about our visit to Sunset Peak. For starters, when my wife and I first walked through the door, the smell of fresh pine captivated our senses. We literally stood in the hallway and closed our eyes for a few minutes to take it all in. After our brief moment of serenity, we slowly walked towards the living room / kitchen area of the cabin and was blown away by the majestic beauty of the mountain ridge that was right before our eyes. I know the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" but in this cause, the pictures on the website don't give Sunset Peak justice. The views from the back porch and from the hot tub is spectacular. Chip and Carmie, you guys need to do a master class on how to host. Your attention to detail and southern hospitality really made our 20th anniversary trip memorable. Thank You for being so personable. Your calls, text and Ellijay area recommendations were welcoming. If peace, quiet and seclusion is what you are seeking ... LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS IT! Sunset Peak has every amenity you need and more for the perfect getaway. Peace. Quiet. Clean Cabin. "The staff was disinterested that we were there. I could’ve received a warmer reception if the check-in process were automated. I asked for restaurant recommendations and she said that she didn’t have any and that several other guests had asked the same thing. We walked by the front desk six times and were never once acknowledged/greeted by the staff. Also, I called the front desk before departing, and it rang about 25 times with no answer. Front desk was unprofessional all weekend; one was dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants all weekend. This was unlike any other Comfort Inn I have stayed at. Rooms were small and overpriced as well. The perimeter exits were inaccessible with the room key. Being disabled, this was difficult. Overall, the experience was well below what I expect from Comfort Inn. Being clean is the only positive I can highlight. If you’re ever in Ellijay, seek accommodations elsewhere."

"The Gingershack Farms was an amazing place to stay at. The owners were kind, understanding,and welcoming they had a couple of options to do outside for kids and adults. Beautiful scenery. On the way in and out and at the cabin. Thank yall so much "
