"We were doing a vacation to voyagers and the north shore. Needed a cozy house for a big family on a budget. This house was great! Added bonus because of the cute downtown bakery/coffee shop and great grocery store. Was exactly what we hoped for. Tucked away far from road. Felt very safe in this cute little small town. Host reached out before hand to give us tips on where to stop and eat before our late arrival. So thankful"

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin! This cabin comes equipped with everything you would need or want to have a nice, relaxing getaway on beautiful Lake Vermilion. Going in we weren't quite sure what all to expect but were very pleasantly surprised when we found that the cabin came fully stocked with all the cooking ware, dishes, utensils you would need to make any meal you'd want to make. The cabin was also fully stocked with towels, toiletries, personal care products, firewood, some water sports gear like kayaks, and brochures and pamphlets of things to do and places to see in the local area. The cabin itself is very modern and nice, spacious, and has a wonderful waterfront and view of Lake Vermilion. I have to give a big shout out to the owners because they noted they are new to the whole rental thing and I have to say they have provided an excellent experience. If you are someone who doesn't normally have access to a lake cabin, this is such a great way to be able to have that experience and at a very good price point. The owners just ask that you leave the place the way that you found out which is more than reasonable. Our group of three really enjoyed it and are already talking about wanting to come back next year for a longer stay!The cabin is within a 30ish minute drive of most the local area touristy things to do around Lake Vermilion. It was also very quiet around the property. Also friendly neighbor dogs!"

"We have stayed at several places on the lake and this was perfect for what we needed. 2 king bed bedrooms and a twin bedroom off of one of them, which we didn't use, but is a good set up. The bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed with everything you need and they include drinking water, which is a plus! This cabin is very cute, good use of space, great dock and lakeshore, with power to plug in your boat. The closest boat launch is a couple minutes away in the bay.We lived on the deck when we were actually at the cabin vs the lake, which is wonderful! The owners are fantastic with details and communication. We will be back for sure!"

"The home is as presented - lots of space, very clean, beautiful location. The sunrises were especially grand. There's a public boat launch next door but it's not all that noisy or intrusive. Having a private dock was great. Definitely rent a boat or bring your own to enjoy the area fully. Emily the manager was phenomenal - very responsive and professional. There were a few minor issues with the home that she handled with ease. Definitely recommend this for a larger group, perfect for two families."
Tranquil 3-bedroom cabin on scenic Lake Vermilion

"We had a great time in this wonderful Lake Vermilion cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The sauna was great to use after a cool dip in the lake. We took full advantage of all the water toys - canoes, kayaks, SUPs - and enjoyed a swim out to the 'rock' every day. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The wifi was fast which our teenagers appreciated. This was our first time staying on the eastern side of the lake - near Tower. It was nice to be closer to some good restaurants (Vermilion Club, Tavern in the Bay) and activities (Pier 77 Mini Golf, Wilderness golf course)."

"The host was excellent and understanding; the property apparently was innaccurately listed by VRBO saying that it had a pool. This feature showed up every time we looked at the property's features; it said specifically that it had a "pool which is a unique feature in this area." When we arrived and couldn't find the pool, we communicated with the host. While the listing apparently got updated immediately to be accurate, we did not want to stay and had to scramble to find another property. This was very difficult and interrupted our vacation significantly. Even though the host credited us for the nights we did not stay, I think VRBO should provide some compensation for misleading customers and damaging our vacation."

"Our party of 8, with a mix of adults and older teens (ages 16–20), stayed here for a long weekend of ATV riding. Overall, the cabin worked well for our group.The location is convenient for accessing the ATV trails, though you'll need to ride a short distance on the County Road before connecting to the trail system. The cabin sits right on the lake with a large yard for yard games and a campfire and is just down the road from the public swimming beach, which was a nice bonus. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a full day of riding, and the sunsets over the lake were beautiful. Parking for two larger trucks with trailers was manageable, although one of us used the neighboring public boat landing for additional parking.Overall, the cabin met our needs and was a good value for our group. The only downsides were that the beds weren't the most comfortable—I recommend bringing your own pillows and perhaps an extra blanket if you prefer a cozier night's sleep—and the frequent train passes throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper, the train noise may make it difficult to get a good night's rest."
