Waterfront Dream Cottage With A Million Dollar View, HARBOR Unit

UNIT NAME: HARBOR

This beautiful private waterfront vacation home is located on the 165+ft of picturesque shorefront in Gills Rock, Wisconsin. The floor to ceiling windows offer a panoramic water view to Hedgehog Harbor from kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom loft. The magnificent sunsets overlooking Door Bluff can be enjoyed either from inside the house or from the large flagstone private outside patio in the back yard. The patio is great for entertaining with an area for grilling (charcoal grill available; charcoal not provided) and a fire pit (firewood not provided).

The lakefront beach offers great swimming) and water fun opportunities for water lovers (rocky bottom). Enjoy the starry night in the hot tub located on the lakeshore (open May 1st through end of October). The property is located only two minutes walking distance from a marina. The house has an attached roomy three car garage used as a game room on the main floor (shared with another unit) with an easy access to the unit. The open floor concept allows great flow between the living room, dining room and the kitchen with beautiful tile and wood flooring and Scandinavian imported wood wall paneling. The kitchen has gorgeous granite counter tops and rich cherry colored cabinetry. All basic kitchen appliances (gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, regular coffee maker) and dishes are available. The newly remodeled modern looking spacious easy access tiled bathroom on the main floor also includes a specious brand new electric sauna.

The old beams off bedroom located in the open loft offer the area a lot of charm in addition to additional beautiful views of the lake.
There is a queen and twin bed in the loft, a pullout couch in the dining room and a pullout couch in the living room.

My wife and I and two boys (dogs) stayed for a week and had a marvelous time. The yard was kept so nice, the patio with the firepit was great and the boys really enjoyed the water. This is a great quiet and peaceful property with amazing views. Close to so many beautiful hikes and shops... all no more than 30 min at most. Door County in the summer is wonderful but winter is also a must! Many things still open off-season!

Hedgehog Harbor Christmas !

Great getaway for Christmas. LOVED the sauna , was hoping to use the hot tub on the water too, but must only be open in summer - will have to come back to try it! We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The patio and bonfire pit were awesome. Amazing views- beautiful rocky beach. Our dog loved the yard, beach, and nearby parks !

Dan and Gretel are excellent hosts. They are responsive, the house is extremely clean and they provide many, many things to do. There are kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, pool table, hot tub and many board games. Plus a wonderful patio with a fire pit and grill station. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Great space in great location

Great views and really fun location with the lake right there and kayaks and paddleboards for exploring. The location is nice and quiet but still close to nice parks and restaurants. The ferry to Washington island is right around the corner. The bathroom is really nice and the place was very clean. The outdoor space while lovely did have a table covered in spider webs that was slightly unappealing while trying to eat dinner out there. Overall though would say this place was beautiful clean and fun and would 100% stay here again.
