"Overall good experience. It should be noted that the third bedroom is only accessible by walking through the second bedroom making it less available than a renter might think. The grill was in such poor condition that it was not usable. The sliding door to the deck was missing the screen door reducing its usability for ventilation. Lastly, the electronic lock on the door failed locking us out of the property. Luckily we found a neighbor with a key to the garage that allowed us entry."

"This is our second time staying at this property, and it is truly a wonderful place! Absolutely recommend. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the owners have thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with everything you could want. Very comfortable beds and great air conditioning during the heat wave!. Plenty of room to spread out for six adults who were staying there. The location can’t be beat. The little bay is beautiful, and it is so nice to have a pier to relax on and enjoy the view. We really appreciate having the kayaks and life vests and beach towels to use whenever we wanted. Michael and Kayla were really helpful hosts and great communicators and quickly answered any questions we had."

"We come up to Door County annually with two other couples and all of our littles, ages 7 and under. This home was the perfect getaway for stressed out parents. The house was super spacious. It was close enough to the action in Sister Bay, but far enough away to also have some peace and quiet for naps and such. We loved the outdoor living area and it was the perfect retreat for a rainy Wednesday. The host, Ed, was extremely responsive and made sure we had what we needed and everything was in order. We will definitely be back next year if available around the same time."

"The Koeselig cottage is adorable! We have stayed in mulitple VRBO's and AIRBNB's over the years and while we loved our stay at this cottage in Ellison Bay, I think that the rental company could have done a better job at several things:1. The listing description should say that you are going to drive about a 1/4 mile on a long, bumpy dirt road to get to the property.2. No kitchen towels were provided, no Kleenex was provided and only two very small 1/2 rolls of toilet paper were provided (not even a full roll for a multiple night stay).3. The remote control did not work, thus no tv. We contacted the rental company and they suggested that we replace the batteries. It was a rechargeable remote. They should have a checklist for each property to know this and be certain that the remote is charged.4. The floors and fridge are noisy. 5. Food from the previous renters was left in the fridge and we were told that we should dispose of the items. If the previous renter forgot to dispose of their food items, then the cleaning company should dispose of such items. The cleaning fee is large for VRBO stays. At every other up north vacation property we have stayed at (managed by a rental company) they had a complimentary bag of coffee and bottle of wine. This had neither. They offered one sample size coffee, which will last one day. At this price, I would expect a bit more."

"Charming little cottage, surprisingly quiet though it's on the highway. Walking distance to groceries, coffee, restaurants and hiking. Loved the garden on this home and the patio. Kitchen can easily handle two people doing things though it was lacking a few necessities like coffee filters and working toasters. Great water pressure and nice shower. Beds were very comfortable as was the furniture. Plenty of parking and easy access to the living area from the parking. Overall a pleasant stay."

"It was an amazing house. It was family-friendly, very clean and spacious, location was perfect. The only thing was that there wasn’t any dish soap to hand wash dishes and no Kleenexes. Other than that it was perfect. I would definitely come back and stay there again. "
