Everything was great! We found the location perfect for all we wanted to do:Day 1 - Interstate state park, Willow river state park, nugget lakeDay 2 - Kinnickinnic state park, Maiden Rock Bluff, Nugget Lake DamWhat a beautiful area!
We loved our stay. The living space was cozy, inviting, warm, and had everything we could need for some time to relax and just be. The garden and the trails were a different kind of beauty to appreciate. We were welcomed by friendly hosts and greatly valued their recommendations of places to eat and explore. We would return in a heartbeat.
Well laid out small unit with really nice garden bbq area.

A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!
The cottage was beautiful and a perfect location for our visit to Vino in the Valley. Kay greeted us upon arrival and gave us the tour. The location was great for a walk and nearby bike trails that we did prior to arrival. Everything was great, bed was very comfy and extra phone chargers were a bonus, as my husband forgot his. Thanks for your warm hospitality! highly recommend.
This is a great location for those looking to fish the Rush River and enjoy a beautiful setting. Check-in process was very simple. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The only issue was that the listing indicated "sleeps six." However, there was one queen bed and one pull out queen. I spoke with the owner about this and he said it was a mistake in the listing. That's the only reason I didn't give full five stars for 'accuracy of online listing.' The bunkhouse is available for an additional fee, and that accommodated a number of folks in the group. This is wonderful place and I encourage everyone to book it if you're in the region!
Beautiful location and cottage! The owners were excellent hosts! We picked rocks by the river and thrifted in the area and Red Wing. Lovely get away and I’m definitely going to stay there again.
Second time staying here and it was wonderful again! What a delight to get to enjoy the flowers blooming and birds chirping. Sweet hosts and a cozy spot.
We loved every minute we got to stay in this unique, quiet, restful, clean, well-designed property. We hope it it will be available again for our next visit! Hosts were truly lovely and genuine people - great to meet them!

The owners Phil and Kay were very responsive in communication. They allowed us to stay longer than the advertised time the next day, which made all the difference in our trip. They were great.
The beautiful countryside and gardens gave us the quiet escape we needed. The love that has gone into meticulously renovating this old farm property is evident, and the hosts are delightful.
Our stay at The Milk House was perfect. Such a cute and cozy place and the hosts were wonderful! We look forward to staying there again in the future!

A lovely home away from home in peaceful surroundings off the beaten path.
Beautiful flower gardens surrounding the property.
Very friendly hosts made our stay even more enjoyable.
Close to vineyards and wine tasting too.
It was such a great experience! The lodging itself is so cute and cozy! Kay was awesome and gave us tours and even helped us build a fire that night. Gave us info on the surrounding area. And honestly it was one of the most beautiful areas to stay in. All in all will definitely be going back again! Highly recommended!
