Located on Leonard Lake, this 2BR waterfront retreat is the ideal choice for a tranquil getaway. Nestled on a 1.5-acre wooded lot, your vacation rental has a private dock for fishing and swimming, a firepit, and a gas grill. With stunning sunsets from the dock and amazing views from within the home, you find yourself surrounded by quiet while within the city. A perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

When you want to explore, downtown Ellsworth is 5 minutes away, while Acadia National Park is 30 minutes from home.

Beautiful and tranquil lake home. All the necessities were there. Owners left a wonderful booklet on places to eat and shop- was very helpful! Momo’s cheesecake was fantastic! Highly recommend! Helen’s restaurant was yummy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Leonard Lake House. It is really beautiful, comfortable and clean. The view of the lake is superb and we loved hearing the loons. The house is in a great location to visit any part of Mt Desert island. The hosts are very kind and considerate. We hope to come back another time.

Perfect Little Lake House

This location is perfect for daily trips to Acadia and surrounding towns. Nearby grocery and quaint little town. Highly recommend for a stay in Maine.

Wonderful view, lovely home

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend by the lake here and felt like it was such a quiet retreat. Everything was decorated and the views were spot on -- plus the red Adirondack chairs arrayed by the firepit were super inviting. We'd definitely stay here again.

Awesome Vacation

We absolutely loved this property - quiet location on a lake, but close enough to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and surrounding attractions. House had everything we needed with nice-sized bedrooms and full kitchen. Made good use of the firepit, grill, picnic table, and kayaks too! Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay. Newly renovated and well done, with great location near plenty of outdoor activities and convenient drive to Acadia National Park. And the view from the house is spectacular - lakeside with outdoor seating, firepit, dock and more. Quiet, peaceful with easy access to both town and nature. Highly recommend.

Was great, little kayaking, fishing, fire pit with the family and short drive to Cadillac Mountain and Bar Harbor. I would definitely repeat very clean and well taken care of property as advertised

Great Location

The house was spotless and comfortable. Everything we needed. The exterior had chairs for lounging with a spectacular lake view. We could walk down to the dock for an even better view. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable

The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is in a beautiful setting, at least when looking at the lake. The drive to Acadia was longer than I expected, but worth it since the house is so lovely! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Mother daughter national park trip

This home was charming, clean and comfortable! Nice to have a kitchen with everything you need to prepare dinner after a day at Acadia. Also having washer and dryer is a plus. Down town Ellsworth also was a plus! Good restaurants and shopping.

Great Stay Near Acadia National Park

The property was as advertised. The lake view from the large windows was awesome. It was far enough from town that you could see the stars at night. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was large, and the living area was nice. It was 30 minutes to Acadia and away from the end-of-season crowds. Martha's Diner was a FIND for breakfast.

Bar harbor trip

We took a Trip to bar harbor/ Acadia. Drive was about a half hour to bar harbor from the house. House was super clean and beds were comfortable. Very quiet location and loved the little dock to fish on. We were out and about most of the time, wish we had more time to enjoy the house !

Perfect Little Lake House

Quiet house on the lake. It was so peaceful with amazing views of the lake. The house was very clean and well stocked. The center of town is short drive away with shops and great places to eat. Acadia and Bar Harbor are about a 35 minute drive away. Definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

Beautiful location

The house is located right near the downtown area and the lake behind the house provides a great view from the living room and kitchen. The house was very clean and had all we needed to enjoy our vacation in Maine! Thank you for a wonderful visit.
