GOODBYE REAL WORLD....HELLO VACATION

FOUR SEASON cabin situated on 5 acres of Federal Forest with DIRECT ACCESS TO SNOWMOBILE TRAIL on White Iron Lake. Rolling terrain with 400 feet of lakeshore. Located on southern tip of White Iron with western picture perfect sunset views. The location has almost zero boat traffic. Tranquil setting for a summer retreat, cozy getaway in winter, base camp for dog sledding or snowmobiling. AND ONLY 7 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN ELY.

*Cabin has two 55" smart tv's with DirectTv and WiFi

60 ft dock/west view in wind protected cove for your boat. Walk out, grab a chair, and enjoy a tranquil view and/or toss out a line for cruising pike. Short paddle north passing only 3 piers before entering a string of islands, great fishing at the mouth of the Kawishiwi River.

White Iron is known for its high numbers of walleye, pike, and crappie due to the inflow of water from the Kawishiwi. Bring back some keepers, cook on charcoal grill or on the fire pit.

Cozy, Quiet, and Beautiful

This was a dream location for our family to spend Christmas. The location is peaceful and secluded. The cabin is picturesque with the wood burning stove and beautiful lake view. It had a very well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to make our meals including a wonderful Christmas dinner. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

Great Time!

We had a great time!! We went out fishing in boundary waters and it was nice to come back to a house with all the accommodations after a couple long days of portaging our fishing boats. Awesome fire pit, plenty of room for all the guests.

Northwoods Retreat

Nice cabin in a great location. Perfect for our group of 6 adults to re-engage. The fireplace kept the main level cozy. Could have used some heat in the lower level to make it more comfortable, but still enjoyed playing ping-pong. Big shout out to White Wilderness Sled Dog Adventures! The combination of this great home with an all around awesome dog sledding experience will be remembered as a favorite family trip.

Father/Son Fishing Trip

Spring Break Getaway

We had a fantastic stay! Cabin was as pictured. We had two nights of fantastic fires outside. We brought our own wood but the cabin is well stocked with wood for indoor and outdoor fires. Kitchen is well stocked, bathroom was great, water gets hot right away! Beautiful views from the cabin, lots of deer! Good communication, they checked in to see how we were doing. We didn’t need anything. Will stay again!

A relaxing retreat

Beautiful dock, a bit challenging to get to with many rocks and a steep incline/no railing. Very nice to have canoes/kayaks available to use. Great outdoor hangout area! The cabin was comfortable and had many amenities for having dinner. Also loved how close to Ely this property was for in-town entertainment.

Had a great time at this cabin over the New Years weekend. Nice house, beautiful location and view from the house. Fully stocked kitchen and 4 double beds available. Loved the wood burning stove! Easy access off a main road with plenty of parking.

Family stay in the Northwoods

This was a beautiful home, and as a big family we had everything we could have wanted for our stay. Check in and check out was a wonderful process. After our stay, we wanted to rebook it for the same week the next year and because of how great it is, it was already booked a year in advance. Highly recommend!

Great Fall Getaway

Beautiful cabin with stunning views of the lake. Water level was really low from recent drought, so we ended up not using the canoe and kayaks as it would have been difficult to get them in and out of water. Lots of space, fully equipped kitchen, and great firepit. Close to Ely and lots of hiking spots. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing cabin! Very clean, everything we needed in the kitchen, and the beds were comfy. The stocked firewood was so convenient. We would definitely stay here again!! Something that I missed beforehand was that you need to take your trash with you or pay $50 - this was not the end of the world, but it was not ideal either.

Winter getaway

Even though we were just 2 hours from home, we enjoyed our quiet time here. We planned our trip for some snowshoeing and fishing. With frigid temps of -25 to -35, we ended up doing a little site seeing in Ely and scouting lake accesses and entry points for future summer and winter camping adventures. The cabin was cozy with the wood burning fire place, has plenty of space for 6 adults to play games, paint canvases, and enjoy the NFL playoffs. The host was easy to communicate with, and the cabin was very clean and welcoming.

Perfect size for 4-6 people. Very well equipped right down to a hot tea pot! Comfortable beds and furniture. Great location for Ely offerings. Really nice lake, only fished for a couple hours on a 95degree day so I can’t vouch for fishing quality. We had a great stay. The hosts were great!
