You must understand that this is the oldest hotel in Nevada and it is a historical site so everything about the property should be appreciated. Yes, it does look a little shabby, but the rooms are so cute and clean. I really enjoyed my stay.

Cigarette smoke throughout the building. But I guess that is what you get when the hotel also has a casino. Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient.

Not much going on in downtown Ely. The room was clean but worn. Bed was comfortable. The staff were great. The restaurant located on the first floor was located next to the casino and stunk of cigarette smoke, which made it difficult to enjoy a meal.

These rooms are so nice, clean and quiet. Although you have to register at the casino, which was old and smokey, but once you entered the elevator to go to your room the entire vibe changes. The Hotel is definitely we will return to when travelling to or through Ely.

Fun night downstairs, Willie the bartender was efficient to his customers. Melinda at the desk was courteous, kind and attentive. Good food in the restaurant( open late!), the nice hostess served me with a smile! Recommend the chicken pot pie and meatloaf! Very basic room, clean and comfortable. Keep consideration to the 100+ year age of the hotel and its limitations but enjoy a good night of fun, good variety of modern slots. Sports on the TV’s around the bar.

The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and well stocked. We got the penthouse which included drink tickets. The first floor has a full casino, but it didn't affect the sound in our room on the 6th floor

Overall, I had a great experience at Hotel Nevada. They are remodeling, so there is some dust, but the rooms are clean, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The only real drawback was the bathroom fan. It was so loud! I like a soaking bath in the eve, and the fan was so loud that I couldn't stand to turn on the light. The food was good and reasonably priced, and right there, available in-house.
