"This is a charming, traditional, New Mexican type of property. It’s a dry desert area, so you can’t expect a lot of beautiful foliage and landscaping, but the property itself is well cared for and remote and quiet. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. It was a very hot spell, and my room would not cool down below about 77°, but that was probably because of the type of room I had. Overall, it was very bearable, and very well worth the stay."

"Classic lodge in a cute town. Construction was going on all over Taos, but the El Pueblo Lodge was just perfect. Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The tamales were amazing. It was only one night of a long trip, but I wish we could've stayed there longer and explored the area more."
