Just a half-mile from the #2 beach in the South (USA Today), it's the ultimate quiet getaway to reconnect and recharge. Enjoy complimentary bikes, beach gear, and a shared golf cart for easy access to sun and sand. Your private coastal retreat awaits!

Your private retreat begins on the covered front patio, an oasis of relaxation featuring a secluded hot tub and cozy couple's loungers. Inside, the tranquil living area includes a comfortable sectional sofa and an electric fireplace, perfect for relaxing evenings. The full kitchen and dining area provide everything you need for a meal in. At the end of the day, sink into the plush queen bed, surrounded by the soft glow of fairy lights.



To make your stay effortless, your suite includes:

A fully stocked coffee bar

Complimentary homemade sweets, snacks, sodas, and water

A stackable washer and dryer

Plush linens and a basket of complimentary toiletries

Guests have exclusive access to the entire private suite, located on the first floor.

This was our second stay! We loved it both times. These are the best suites for a couple. They are clean and there isn’t anything they haven’t thought of. The Currys’ are the nicest host and the homemade goodies are amazing! If you are looking a great place at Emerald Isle; definitely stay here!

From the time we looked into booking this VRBO, both Jonathan and Carolyn were so very responsive and helpful. Their rental was lovely, and very peaceful. It’s decorated beautifully with a calming beach theme. They also provide more amenities than we’ve ever experienced before.

The Flip Flop couples retreat in the Suite Paradise delivered as promised - calm relaxation! Carolyn and Johnathan were amazing hosts who showed above and beyond hospitality with those extra personalized touches that you can usually only get at a Bed and Breakfast. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and beaches available with just a short walk, golf cart or bike ride away. Would stay again happily!

We decided on a last minute trip, and honestly couldn’t have found a better place or hosts. The suite was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we could’ve hoped for or needed. Everything from a coffee bar, fresh baked sweets, a fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, spa robes and toiletries we had forgotten. We truly didn’t want to leave. The hosts were attentive and very accommodating. Highly recommend for a peaceful, private, romantic getaway! It was amazing and cannot wait to return. Thank you!!

Inaugural Emerald Island stay

We didn’t need an entire house this year and didn’t want a condo or hotel. Carolyn’s place was just the right size and we picked this one because it had an oven and stove. Everything was great and Carolyn was very available to help with anything we needed. The golf cart was actually nice since it’s a bit of a walk to the beach. SPOILER ALERT!!! The mini lemon pound cakes were delicious.😋

Peace and Tranquillity

My wife and I stayed in the Paradise Suite. The checkin process is seamless as our hosts Carolyn and Johnathan made sure that we had all the information needed. Our place was nestled in a culdesac wooded lot that is very close to the beach. The suite was so welcoming and decorated and outfitted with everything you need. If you forgot it, Carolyn and Johnathan have probably thought of it, and will have what you need. They are super responsive and are truly very sweet people. The complimentary golf cart and bicycles were such a nice touch as my wife and I used the golf cart to go to the beach and rode bikes in the evening to watch the sunset. We would highly recommend you stay here if you want a peaceful, well provided for getaway to Emerald Isle. Carolyn and Johnathan were the best.

The fresh flowers and delicious chocolate chip cookies were a delightful touch that made us feel extra special. Carolyn and Jonathan were exceptional hosts, demonstrating outstanding communication and responsiveness to our every need and question. Their attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. The amenities provided made our stay incredibly enjoyable. We loved the private hot tub, the convenience of the shared golf cart, and the well-stocked beach gear. Our mornings were spent at the beach, which was easily accessible thanks to the golf cart, and the afternoons were filled with exploring Emerald Isle and catching up with friends who live close by. Rest, relax, get spoiled

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. As others have stated, everything you need for an enjoyable time together with your spouse is provided. The host and hostess were extremely nice and welcoming, wanting to make everything work to our comfort and satisfaction. When I initially booked one of their other units (they have 3) I mentioned in my message to them that I recently had knee surgery. Carolyn responded that the unit I had booked was upstairs and that a downstairs unit was available for the same timeframe. I was able to cancel the one I booked and reserve the downstairs unit This was a huge help as making my way up and down stairs was possible but still a bit of a challenge for me. My wife and I spoke to Carolyn and Jonathan a few times and they could not have been a more pleasant hostess/host to get to know. Everything was as described in the listing. We made use of the golf cart a few times, although we also did walk to the beach on one occasion - maybe a 10 minute walk. The place was very clean, everything worked as expected. Inside is an open design - one large room serving as the bedroom, living room, kitchen. The bathroom is off the main room where the stacked clothes washer and dryer are also located. There is also a separate closet from the main room with a dresser and pole to hang clothes. Outside are two lounge chairs which were great for relaxing early in the day before the heat set in. We could not have been more satisfied with our stay.

What an enjoyable stay for 4 nights! We stayed in "Suite Paradise Suite C". All the comforts you would want! Clean, comfy soft bed & linens, lots of soft towels, laundry facilities in room, coffee/tea bar, all the beach equipment you would need, golf cart use (what a plus!), hot tub for 2, yummy goodies, great instructions everywhere to help you out, labeling of all the supplies everywhere & wonderful hosts.
