"Can’t express enough as to how the room designs were beautiful. The furniture and the decor was done so tastefully it made for a wonderful stay. Also, the woman at the desk who greeted us were wonderful and could not have been any more helpful. Hope to go back soon."

"This property was undergoing renovation during our stay. The hall was covered with protective cardboard and paint smell was noticeable. Our room was clean and comfortable and very large. It could have definitely used some redecorating as the furniture seemed somewhat random like the bookcase partially covering the mirror. It could be a lovely place with a great location once renovations are complete."

"the only plus for this hotel was the location next to the beach. Breakfast was a crap shoot never in the 4 morning we stayed there was the breakfast completely ready at 6 am. the path to the beach was life threatening to say the least going down to the beach the steps just stop with no railing to hold to and no one gave us any warning of this hazzard. Our room was clean but the A/C blew right at my head all the time, so I had to sleep at the bottom of the bed with my feet at the head. In the morning the sprinkler system gave my car an unnecessary washing. I don't know when this place was last remodeled but must have been a long time ago. No I will never stay ay this place AGAIN/."

"Cool historic place but for the price would’ve rather just visited. Super small rooms, one bar with five seats, no real on site dining for dinner, and man they better fix that water pressure as you’ll get more wet sweating than standing under that. Prob my last time visiting but cool place"

"Our room was super clean and had everything we needed. We had a suite and faced the water. The staff here are all top notch and super friendly. We loved our stay hete and would definitely recommend it. "

"La Playa was ideal for adult-sisters getaway. The home is private, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Located within walking (or a short drive) distance to shopping and restaurants in historic downtown Brunswick. I highly recommend taking a drive to explore St. Simons and Jekyll islands."

"They charge a resort fee of $30 per day. I don’t know why.. I didn’t see any organized activities anywhere .. there is a sizable space outside and they had a movie that was put up on Saturday night but I don’t see justification for that to get $30 by every room that stays there. Additionally, their pool was broke and their TV did not work in the fitness room. The breakfast was very good but of course you had to pay for it"
