We had a fantastic stay, host was super friendly and helpful, on call, cottages was newly furnished, had all the basics, limited Wifi, but enough for emails and Watsapps, could watch rugby at the restaurant, meals there upon request, emergency lighting around the premises during load shedding but not in the unit so take your torches, breath taking walks and river views, enough stunning swimming spots along the multiple pristine river crossings along the way for the hot summer day walks in the cool drinkable river water, and for our old doggies first outing, the residents dogs were fantastic and welcoming and friendly and they and our normal kids just loved the venue. Keep up the good work guys!
The reserve is a nature lover's oasis. We were there in December, the biome is teeming with life. We spotted duiker, boomslang, baboons, mongoose and lots of colourful birds, butterflies, dragon flies and much more. The hike up the valley is beautiful.
Highly recommended if you want a peaceful back to nature retreat.
