🌄 Access & Winter Travel Notes Reaching this breathtaking mountaintop retreat comes with just a short stretch of scenic driving approximately 1.7 miles of well-maintained gravel road leading to the home. This road is easily navigable most of the year; however, during winter months, 4-wheel drive is required and snow chains are strongly recommended (many rental companies can provide them upon request). Please plan to drive slowly—about 5–10 mph on curves—and be mindful of wildlife, as deer, elk, and antelope frequently cross the roads. And in true Montana spirit, don’t forget to wave at neighbors you pass, it’s part of local charm!
❄️ Snow Plowing We ensure the driveway is plowed and accessible for your arrival day. Once checked in, any additional plowing during your stay or upon your departure is the guest’s responsibility. The HOA maintains plowing of the main access roads and surrounding community. Recommended snow plow service contacts are posted inside the home. We advise reaching out early if a storm is forecasted during your stay so service can be scheduled in advance.
Uber, Lyft, and public transportation are not available in Paradise Valley; however, you can easily find local drivers for hire with a simple online search.
🐾 Pets Welcome We happily allow up to 3 well-behaved pets with an additional pet fee of $20 per pet, per night. Please make sure to select the correct number of pets at the time of booking so Airbnb can automatically include the fee. If pets are added after booking, or if the number changes, please notify us right away so we can send a reservation adjustment via email for the accurate total. Pet Fee will be added as a "Reservation Alteration" and sent to your email. Please accept the Reservation Alteration promptly so everything is documented correctly.
🔐 Damage Protection & Verification To help ensure a safe and worry-free stay for everyone, we have partnered with Truvi, the leading guest-verification platform. Before your stay begins, you will receive a secure link to verify your booking details and ID. At that time, you will be given two options for property protection: • A refundable deposit, or • A $35 non-refundable damage waiver that provides up to $1,000 coverage for accidental damage This protects both our guests and our property, and streamlines any unexpected issues.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This is a spotlessly clean, beautiful property inside and out. Our group of 7 found it to be very comfortable. The hot tub is clean and the amenities have been thoughtfully provided. If I'm ever back in the area, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
This place has the most incredible views and the house had everything we needed. Everything from the decor to the quality of the furnishes. We would absolutely stay again. It was also very clean and spacious.
We absolutely love this property and we have stayed multiple times. Great area and the views are better than we have ever experienced. One of our favorite places in the world to travel to. Highly recommend.
We had a delightful time here. The views are so stunning with mountains all around - it feels like you are in Switzerland when there is snow on the mountains in the winter.
One of the most comfortably appointed and thoughtfully laid out homes we've ever stayed in. If this place is available, book it, you won't be disappointed! Great value for the $$ especially in this area.
We'll be back, thank you again Kameko!
That view! It was a bit of a road up, but the view makes the trek worth it! The home was clean and welcoming. Communication with the owner was wonderful.
Thank you for hosting us!
Our experience was amazing and made for the perfect Yellowstone & fishing trip one could ever have. The place is immaculate, has all you could ever need and the most amazing views one could see. The host is amazing and super attentive and responsive to all of our questions, helping us to have the best experience. We for sure will stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to feel the experience of Big Sky Montana and Yellowstone to stay there. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
We have stayed at many properties but the Yellowstone Sky House was exceptional and exceeded expectations…and mine are very high. This trip was a family vacation that included 4 adults and 1 infant. The house was perfectly suited for privacy, when desired, and well equipped for a baby. The property was well stocked from A to Z and you can’t beat the view! A big thank you to our hosts for being so accommodating. We will definitely go back!
10/10 recommend this house! The views of the mountains out the windows are second to none and you'll want to spend all your time just staring at them! The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts thought of everything- down to the record player and assorted vinyls to the matching robes in the master suite. This house had one of the best equipped kitchens that I've seen and even included appliances such as a pressure cooker and food processor. The house was 10 minutes from a small country store that has most everything you'll need, a bar, and a restaurant (though the restaurant is only open certain days so check beforehand). It's about 30 minutes from the larger town of Livingston to the north, and 30 minutes from Gardiner to the south. Gardiner is also the North Entrance to Yellowstone so this house couldn't be in a better location. Do yourself a favor and book this house, I promise you won't regret it!
This house is spectacular! Very nicely decorated and clean, plenty of space, really nice kitchen. And the views…priceless. Huge windows to be able to look out on the hills below and mountains across the highway. Nice touches of a spotting scope and record player. The hot tub was a welcome sight after hiking all day, again with amazing views. The porches have plenty of comfortable seating and the handrails had glass underneath to be able to view all around. While we stayed, we were able to see a trio of deer walking through the hills. One morning they frolicked and ran around, so cute! Lots of bluebirds and others flying around. We got to see a fox one evening while sitting in the hot tub. Very comfortable and relaxing for sure. A much needed getaway and this place was the cherry on top! Kameko and Ryan communicated well and the house was easy to find. We’d definitely make another trip here!!
From getting out of our car to sadly leaving, the views from this house are incredible with sweeping views across Paradise Valley and a perfect view on Migrant peak. The property has a lot of space to explore outside and for us play in the snow. The outside is well maintained and so nice to have a garage with sleds and other fun things to use like corn hole! The inside of the house was perfectly decorated with a kitchen that had every utensil or dish you needed. The kids were ecstatic to have an Xbox and the hot tub was perfectly positioned. With a beautiful 40 minute drive we were in Yellowstone National Park which was so fun in the winter. The hosts of this house were so helpful and kind. I would stay here over and over and so would my entire family. It's perfection! Definitely need a 4 wheel drive in the winter which made it feel all the more separated from the world and exclusive.
The communication by the owners was excellent. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub after long days sightseeing, although the scenery from the house is hard to beat. We were even treated to snow-dusted peaks for a few days. A wonderful vacation to remember!
The stay here was wonderful! Our entire family enjoyed a fantastic view, a beautiful, clean home in the mountains with privacy. Our host was so helpful and kind. We loved our stay here!😊
Better than expected and we had high expectations.
Everything was perfect. The house was actually bigger than what the pictures showed and the mountains were closer. The decor was beautiful, and the views indescribable. Very well equipped, and every little detail was perfection. We will be back!
Our family has stayed at properties all over the world, and Kameko & Ryan's is one of the tops. We don't have a single recommendation on how to make the stay any better. The property is well described by the pictures - modern rustic, newly refinished, and in top notch shape. Internet was fantastic (often a challenge for rural properties). Our favorite activity was simply drinking coffee and admiring the incredible views. This home does not disappoint!
Our family drove from California to Emigrant Montana for a first-time visit to Montana and Yellowstone for the holidays and had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property.
The view is simply beyond words from every window in the house. We spent days and hours enjoying the endless, breathtaking views of the mountains, vistas, sunrises, and sunsets.
There was also wildlife everywhere! We were able to see mule deer, elk, and even a fox!
Our host family Ryan and Kameko were fantastic! They were responsive, friendly, considerate, and there for us whenever we needed them, which wasn't very often as the place was perfect! It was mostly to help guide us to the very cool local restaurants (Sage Grill was awesome) and activities!
We HIGHLY recommend this property and look forward to staying again!
When we opened to door for this wonderful property, our jaws dropped. The house was beautiful, all appliances and electronics were updated and modern. And the view....that view...this is something to be experienced. We watched the snow come down the mountains and storms come our way (looks like fog but, boy, the fog moves quickly and suddenly you are in a blizzard). We loved our time at Kameko's and Ryan's place. They were responsive (within minutes) and endlessly helpful. The proximity to Livingston, MT, the Old Saloon, and Sage Lodge meant that we always had something to do. But, when the snow comes in, it is wonderful to have a spotless and updated place to weather the winter storm. There's nothing like spending time in a hot tub during a blizzard.
We very much hope to return. :-)
We absolutely loved our stay at this incredible rental! The drive up to it is like you have never seen before (and we are seasoned travelers); we couldn't believe that was the view we were going to enjoy for an entire week. Mountains, mountains, and more mountains! The pictures don't even do it justice!
The house is very tastefully decorated and furnished. The layout is convenient and the whole space feels inviting, clean, and cozy.
The kitchen was well-stocked with everything one may need for a short or longer stay. The master suite bed is exceptionally comfortable! We had very relaxing restful sleep the entire time there.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore the Yellowstone Park due to recent flooding and the entrance being closed, but, as the host had advised, we found plenty other activities in the area to participate in. The nearby towns of Bozeman, Livingstone, Emigrant, and Big Sky are super cool, with lots of great restaurants and shopping.
We highly recommend this wonderful rental and hope to be invited to stay on our next trip to Montana.
A Family Trip for Mom at 82! With Mom, Dad & Siblings! My mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma 4 months ago and when I asked her where she wanted to go, Yellowstone was it! My siblings and I arranged for us all to be there without spouses and grandchildren, to give mom a true family vacation experience! Filled with- “Are We There Yet?” - “I have to go to the Bathroom!” - and “Mom, their touching me!” From the back seats! It didn’t matter that we are each almost all over 50! Lol! This house was perfect location with Breathtaking Views! Kameko was awesome and very responsive to multiple emails, as we tried to rent wheelchairs, grab groceries and plan. We will never forget this absolutely once in a lifetime trip with Mom & Dad! Mom was glowing with happiness the entire time! Thank you for being part of our Mission of Love for Mom!!! Andrea & Siblings!
Our family had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful with amazing attention to detail and the location is stunning. Kameko and Ryan have done a great job making the house welcoming and comfortable! We didn’t want to leave and hope to return very soon.
I can not say enough about the house, the view, and the easy communication between Kameko and Ryan. We loved every bit of our vacation and will definitely be back. All of us had THE MOST magnificent time.
The first thing we did upon arriving was taking in the view whilst having a beverage. The view is breathtaking and can be enjoyed from just about every space in the house. The owners were responsive and very detailed in their recommendations. Our favorite snow covered hike was pine creek falls and definitely our favorite place to eat, besides at the house, was sage lodge. The house was immaculate, from the decor to the furnishings as well as being stocked for a big meal or a drink in the hot tub. I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone! Thank you for sharing it with us.
