When I arrived, I was made to wait for twenty minutes outside the building, communicating with someone at another location through the intercome. When they finally let me in, my room wasn't ready, although it was more than three hours after the check-in time advertised on the website. During my stay, there was deafening construction noise at all hours...

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und die Schlüsselübergabe liefen reibungslos. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Sauna im separaten Gartenhaus war ein Traum. "Charming hotel set as part of a castle in an old German market town . The staff were kind and super helpful, the room was quiet and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good both at breakfast and dinner . Parking in the small courtyard was available and again the staff were helpful in finding a spot and there is always the option of the covered parking for a small fee which was high enough to accommodate a tall vehicle. I was only there for a couple of days but I wish it could have been longer . The castle gardens and views are are stunning and well worth a look "

"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."

" “The hotel was clean and good, but the issue was that when I arrived late, there was no communication to let me know where the key was placed. When I got there, the door was locked. They had left a phone number, so I had to call it to find out where the key was. This was a bit uncomfortable for me, especially when you arrive somewhere unfamiliar.”"
