Small village. Great to see both male and female volunteers planting and looking after the flower beds in the village. Caesar salad great in the Bridge restaurant. Needs a new sign, current sign doesn't drive you in...

Great stay with children. Rooms are good size. We had a large group with some taking the rooms equipped for families, which were great. Breakfast was delicious and a very good variety. Everything was fresh. Bakery was freshly made too.

I stayed in Room 405 and the staff were genuinely helpful throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the room had a strong, unpleasant stench that hit all of us the moment we entered. Our hosts, Sue and Dave met us as soon as we arrived. They were amazing, Dave brought wood and lit a cosy fire, Sue brought coffee and a pot of tea. What a welcome!
