"Pros: La casa era estupenda, la tipica vivienda de piedra de la montaña palentina, grande, confortable y con todas las comodidades. El entorno es impresionante. La hospitalidad de las dueñas, extraordinaria. "Pros: La casa era muy cómoda, con una terraza que da a una zona tranquila, con un jardín común para los apartamentos. Las camas y dormitorios nuevos y cómodos, estancias calentitas y la cocina con lo necesario. Todo muy limpio y tanto Sonia como Ana, la que lleva el hotel, muy atentas. Si se quiere se puede tomar desayuno espectacular en el hotel que está a 50 metros del alojamiento. "We believe this a family run hotel and restaurant. Neither of us speak Spanish or Basque but the welcome and help we had was superb. The hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was silent, comfortable and clean. We dined there in the evening, the restaurant has a good choice of reasonably priced items and wine was included with our menu. Breakfast was also plentiful. Perfect stopover or base to explore this beautiful srea."

"The setting was spectacular, we had good weather and an excellent clear view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace and our balcony. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and kind and the breakfast spread was on a par with other paradors we had visited. Yes the floors are creaky and plumbing is ancient but we loved being there and the Parador is due to close shortly for major renovation. "

"This hotel was in the prettiest little town which we loved. The room was a great size with plenty of space for our bags and a large nice bathroom. We were in a studio suite and would definitely recommend it. The town itself doesn’t have much to do as the local restaurant is only open during the afternoon during the week and then there is a one bar (cash only). If you’re looking for a quiet hotel in a quaint town this place is perfect! "
