"Sheep and chickens were friendly. They set the vibe perfectly to slow down and just enjoy. We were able to make a decent dinner between the grill area and the surprisingly efficient kitchen. Best shower we encountered over our whole trip - 5 stops. Bed was very comfortable. The record player was a nice surprise. Luckily we had been collecting our own along the way of our trip but I highly recommend the Brothers Reed out of what is available in the cabin."

"The Galice Lodge is a great place for a large group. We all had our own bedrooms. Lots of privacy as well as a very comfortable common area to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. The house is located in such a scenic part of Oregon with easy access to lots of water activities and hiking. The staff assisted quickly with any issues. We’d love to stay at the Lodge again!"

"A wonderful place to stay with a large group. Worked out perfect for us. Very comfortable, well stocked kitchen. The resort had music two nights which we could enjoy from the big back deck."

"We were so happy to find this property. We were looking for a 4 bedroom house with 2 king beds and 2 queen beds, and this was the place. The home has so much personality built in the 1930s, on beautiful acreage with breathtaking views. It brought back memories of visiting relatives in the past. Each room is so cozy, with lots of room to relax in. Mike, the host, was very helpful wanting to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. He answered all my inquiries right away. Grants Pass is a great place to visit. Lots of activities. We were there for the Hellgate Jet Boat Excursions on the Rouge River, which by the way was a blast. This property also borders a golf course. We spent time on the patio watching the golfers from a distance. There are also Vineyards close by to visit. Lots of fun for everyone. We definitely recommend this beautiful, peaceful home away from home."
