Wilton Castle is a truly unique offering. The castle has been lovingly restored by its owners and mixes old worldly charm with high class furnishings and finishes. The result is exquisite. We arrived after dark and were met by Antoinette and Sean the owners who guided us to our suite. This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. We loved the place which was really near to Wexford town but yet in the heart of the country. An actual working farm, steeped in history and tastefully renovated and decorated. We were offered tea and homemade biscuits on arrival and a most sumptuous breakfast. The bed was luxurious and comfortable. Family run and maintained we felt welcome there. The price was very good for such an excellent place to spend a night. We would definitely go back there.

We stayed for a two night stay and were given a lovely welcome, our room (room 32) was upstairs at the back so it was lovely, quiet and was recently refurbished and very clean. We were booked for the valentines special which was on the mezzanine level and was five courses with a complementary glass of prosecco.
