"This apartment in Aiguines was perfect for our stay near the Verdon Gorge. The apartment is beautiful inside and is very spacious. We especially loved the balcony that overlooks the lake and chateau. The only downside is the apartment does not include linens/towels or internet, which was not communicated to us until after we paid and made the reservation. However, the linen fee of 30 was minimal, but I would have preferred to have known this upfront when I made the reservation. I would love to...

If you are traveling from North America, we recommend you contact the owners directly and let them know where you are traveling from in advance. If you decide to book this location, don’t forget to look at the lake and up at the sky for some beautiful sunsets and stars! "This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "

It’s a short walk to Moustiers along a path and pavement, and a short drive to Verdon gorge.
