Norway Hus is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation.

The interior offers plenty of natural light, with a large kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry room, counter dining space and dining room, family room and separate living room that leads upstairs to three bedrooms and full bath. The master bedroom and bath on the first level are spacious and luxurious. Beautifully appointed, yet Door County casual furnishings and decor make this house special.

The wooded yard is great, too! A deck with table and chairs, BBQ grill and a fire pit, as well as enough room for yard games for family fun. A short walk down Anderson Lane to Eagle Harbor, restaurants, library, shops, boat harbor and launch and public beach is an added benefit. A large enclosed porch offers a hide-a-bed and game table.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with no noise this is it. Quick drive to Sister Bay for shopping and dining. Large bedrooms and plenty of room for an extended family and friends.

Our family stayed in this lovely home and loved the house, yard and location. We were close to all the Door County place we enjoy. Very pleased with Norway Hus. Found the house incredibly clean with tons of space downstairs to stretch out. Host was very responsive. Shops, restaurants and beach in Ephraim were easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the home very much! It has a spacious kitchen, allowing us to cook and share meals together. Bedrooms were comfortable. Firepit was nice to use. Good location to everything in the county. Large property with a Tranquil setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching various wildlife; rabbits, deer, squirrels and birds. It was close enough to the town to be able to walk everywhere. The house was fully stocked for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable.

Great house for bigger families

We had a great stay in Ephraim! The layout of the house was great for multiple families with a king bed and en-suite on the main floor and the other rooms and full bath upstairs. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard - grilling, having a fire, sitting on the deck. The setting is very private and we enjoyed the roughly 15 minute walk to “downtown” Ephraim. The house felt a bit dated, but it was like being at grandma’s house. We’d go back!

Lovely and very spacious home located in an ideal spot in Ephraim

This is a lovely home and has much more space than the photos show. Everything was very clean. Very comfortable beds too which made for a very restful sleep alter spending all day outdoors. Everything you need is provided. Excellent yard for the kids to play plus a fire pit! We loved the back deck. Close enough to walk to the Ephraim Yacht Club, restaurants, water, etc.We definitely recommend.this home.

Charming!

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norway Hus! Not only is this a prime location with close proximity to Ephraim, Peninsula Park and Fish Creek, the home is VERY clean and well stocked. We visited with grandparents and adult children and there was plenty of room to spread out for everyone. The property manager was easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. We will be back!

Great stay!

The property was perfect for our family of five and two dogs, with plenty of space for everyone and good WiFi for those of us who had to work. The dogs loved having room to run around outside, too. The house was thoughtfully equipped, and everything we needed could be found in a drawer or cabinet. It’s about a 15 minute walk into Ephraim, which we did several times, or a short drive into either Ephraim or Sister Bsy. I would absolutely stay again. It would be GORGEOUS in the fall with the leaves changing.

Door County Get-away

This property looks "vintage" on the photo, but is very updated and modern on the inside. It's very spacious with three separate sitting/living/dining room areas, a large kitchen and four bedrooms. It's exceptionally clean. Plenty of towels are available, coffee and filters. Bring your own spices if you're planning to cook. Lots of outdoor space if you have a large group. Our group of four friends enjoyed our visit to this property very much. We would definitely return.

Three generation family

We had a wonderful week staying at the cottage. The cottage reminded me of a typical one I grew up coming to as a little kid in the sixties! I was glad I was able to bring my kids and grandkids back start their own memories. The cottage was spotless when we arrived, extremely inviting and functional. The cottage had games and beach items we used and kitchen was fully stocked with dished, pots and pans, etc.There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. We used the kitchen, tv/family room and the porch the most. We used the fire pit several evenings for evening bonfires and s’mores. I would recommend this cottage to any family or group. It was delightful!

Where do I start!!. Beautiful home, from all the touches of Ephraim art, to the nature (flowers all around the yard) of the property, to the location (walking distance to the heart of Ephraim) , and even the cleanliness and layout of the house.
