The Cooper Home, Dogs Welcome!

Welcome to your 3 Bd, 1.5 bath home away from home in Ephrata, Pennsylvania! Our newly renovated, single family home is on a quiet suburban street, with easy parking and keycode access. As a family of multiple children and furry friends, we have found that some places are easier to vacation than others. We hope our home will be comfortable for both you, your kids, and your dog on your upcoming visit.

You'll walk through the door into our living room and see our huge comfy sectional, and a 55” smart tv, with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ already signed in and ready for you to use. In the dining room, there is plenty of seating for the whole family, and depending on your mood- coffee or drink bar. The large sliding glass doors in the dining area open right out onto our deck and pool area (Pool is currently covered and closed for maintenance). Right down from the fully outfitted kitchen is our half bath and our doggie lounge area, featuring dog couches, crates and beds of all sizes. Past that is the GE front loading washer and dryer and the back door to enter into our large fully fenced in backyard! Depending on the weather, it can be hard to keep to keep our dogs clean and mud-free, so half of the lawn is a dedicated pup potty spot outfitted with artificial turf and gated off from the grill and lounge area.

On our second floor (6 steps up) you will find all 3 bedrooms- All three are outfitted with gorgeous queen size beds, two with luxury plush mattresses and one with a firm, to offer you a choice. All three rooms feature beautiful, locally crafted furniture.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, and pans. The dog room set up with various cage sizes was great for our dogs. They especially enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We had a great time!

Home Away From Home

What a fun time! Sight & Sound Theater did not disappoint and Lancaster Market and downtown areas were fun. Best of all was enjoying the Cooper home with our family and fur babies! They were able to stay together in one of the huge crates provided and the fenced-in yard with turf was great! Beds, furnishings and appliances were so much like home and Doron responded to a couple of texts I sent very quickly. If we come for another visit, we will definitely plan to enjoy the Cooper home again!

We were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to details. The accommodation was immaculate clean and organized. It was well stocked and this home provides a cozy feel. The dog area was well executed with everything a pup needs to feel welcome even the enclosed outdoor was perfect for the pups they love it. The kitchen well stocked. Its eco friendly items they offer as toiletries show how much they care for you to feel at home and enjoy your vacation. It met all our expectations and more will definitely stay here on my next trip.

The rental standard has been met. I beg anyone to try to provide a better home to stay in. We rent a lot and this is the best. I don’t have the adjectives… Welcoming, spotless, every need anticipated, tasteful, comfortable , etc etc. AND the fact they provide the perfect accommodation for our little dog is the cherry on top. I can NOT recommend it enough.

Sight and Sound Weekend

Was looking for a central location for the Sight and Sound Theater and other attractions, within 30 minutes we could be where ever we wanted to go. This house is perfect if you want to bring your dogs, they have given as much thought to making your pet comfortable as well as you. No need to pack dog crates, food bowls, or beds they have everything there. A fenced in yard with turf grass. We had some issues with the keyless lock,but it could have been operator error, however, as soon as we messaged we received a response immediately. When it was time to leave you just packed up and left no need to do any cleaning they take care of everything. This is probably one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at.

We had an amazing stay at The Cooper Home in Ephrata! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this beautifully renovated space. The living room, with its huge sectional and smart TV, was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The dog-friendly amenities were a huge plus for us, with a dedicated lounge area and a fenced backyard. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring everyone had a restful night’s sleep. There were SO many options of blankets and pillows. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and they provided all the information we needed for an stress-free stay. So many little touches they included made our vacation feel special. Was a great house to stay while we visited some family and went around the Lancaster area. Great place for us and our dogs to stay. They loved the turf doggie area. We had a small issue but Doron was there within the hour and super helpful. Even followed up the next day! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Our dogs loved to lay by the back door in the sun. Super close to everything and tons of places to eat within a 5 minute drive.

Nice place to stay while working in the area. Doran was quick to answer any questions we had. While we were there we had 6" of snow and the next day all of the snow had be shoveled around my truck, the walk and the stairs. Totally unexpected and appreciated.
