"The house that is advertised wasn't as expected. It was not clean at all, even filthy. The floor, the kitchen, shower, even the sheets on the bed. Also the paint in the swimming pool was peeling off. The feet of the children were blue after going in the pool. A lot of stuff was broke, all the chairs and beds in the garden, flyscreen, rollershutter, ... .There was a lot of noice of the animation in the hotel in front of the house. We prefer quietness. We don't need luxury. Just a clean house and...

"Extremely well managed hotel, in high decorative order. Room in new annex was great for 1 night. Bedding top notch. Pool was lovely. Terrace to front offered evening light meals and breakfast. Both excellent."

New Aegli Resort Hotel

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay. It was a very nice property, very well located. The hotel provides full access to the beach across the street and it also has a nice pool area. It is very family friendly. The restaurant has a very good menu and delicious food. There is also an excellent roof top area with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed meeting Maria at the roof bar. She was very helpful in suggesting sites to visit. Make sure to check your room charges. We were charged for another room’s meal. The staff was very quick in fixing the mistake once we pointed it out. We highly recommend New Aegli."

"Good points: - the location was great, short walk from the port and right on the front - steps away from the bus station - short walk into the centre of town - the receptionist was a mine of information - the room was clean and comfy Bad points: - the marble coating on our sink was flaking off which wasn’t ideal - the shower in our friend’s room wasn’t great However, given the price we paid, I thought it was good value for money!"

Hydra Beach Resort

"Mixed stay great setting, but not the right fit for us Overall we had a pleasant enough experience, but it ultimately didn’t fully match what we were looking for. The resort itself is in a beautiful location right on the water, with a nice private beach and plenty of sunbeds and seating options. The beach area was definitely a bonus. with views across to Hydra. The room was fine standard but entry door not much soundproofing. That said, the overall atmosphere felt very much geared towards families with young children. It was quite a busy resort, especially towards our final night when a large number of guests arrived, and at times it felt crowded and lively in a way that didn’t suit the kind of quiet couples escape we had in mind. The buffet was fine but nothing particularly memorable good enough for convenience, but not a standout aspect of the stay. While the hotel itself is well maintained and the staff were generally pleasant and professional, we personally didn’t feel it was the best match for us as a gay couple. At times we felt a little uncomfortable due to the general guest environment, not because of the hotel staff, but simply the mix and atmosphere of the resort. In fairness, we did spend a lot of our time exploring other nearby areas, which we really enjoyed, but that also highlighted that the resort itself wasn’t quite aligned with our travel style. Overall, a nice property in a beautiful setting, but more of a family focused resort."

Club Hotel Casino Loutraki

10/10 Excellent

"We had a deluxe room and it was excellent. The bathroom was very well appointed and the room spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, with a sea view. The breakfast was also very good and conveniently available until 11a.m. The beach was stony but it was lovely to be able to relax on the hotel sun-loungers and enjoy the view. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but there were plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance."
