"This is a gem of a hotel in the National Park Village. We loved the location, Spiral Restaurant and the communal gathering areas in the restaurant and bar. Everything was super clean, staff were capable and friendly. The views of the mountains at sunset in front of the hotel are special."

"Stayed during a weekend skiing at Whakapapa. Very convenient location. Lady at check in very friendly & helpful. Lots of DVDs available to watch for a quiet night in. Bed comfortable, walls thin so could hear next room but not an issue & slept very well. Would definitely stay again"

"The room looked exactly like the pictures. However, there were hair in the shower, spiderwebs throughout the bedroom, mold in the bathroom and the hot water tap was leaking and super difficult to close/open. Staff were very friendly though. "

"We had a brilliant stay here! Lovely owners and gave us a great welcome which we appreciate after a long day cycling. Fantastic kitchen with everything that we could wish for to cook ourselves a meal . Spacious cabin and very clean and we were able to bring our bikes inside which is very important to us. So quiet and peaceful! Highly recommend! "
