The staff was great and provided good service and assistance. The location is very convenient and close to city center. The only thing that took us by surprise was the cost of the laundry, nearly $11, which is extremely high even for Europe and the US!

For me the best hotel in Erzurum!
We liked everything, the hotel and its decorations, the colours of the corridors and the rooms, the paintings, the rooms itself, the heating in the bathroom, the generous give-aways, the best buffet ever in North-East Turkey and last but not least, the competent and helpful friendliness of the personal. Thank you, when nearby, we’ll come back.

I had one night at the Grand hotel Catalkaya in Erzurum. I should have stayed for two nights. Erzurum is a very nice town to wander about in. The hotel is excellent value for money. I stayed there in summer, which I suppose is their off season. The room was great, the staff were professional and helpful. The Catalkaya has a great breakfast buffet with a large variety of dishes. It is one ofvthe nicest hotels I stayed in In Turkey.

Lovely hotel
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Very nice. Rooms lovely and kept very clean. The whole hotel smells lovely everywhere ( no smell of smoke) 👌 wonderful breakfast and very good choice. Nice staff. Very polite. Would highly recommend

Overall it‘s a very nice hotel, friendly staff, only a few know english though. They gave us different rooms than first assigned due to renovations.

Reservation and management team are greedy and not helpful at all. We requested to move dates due to flight issues. We were ready to pay the difference but they asked us to rebook new nights as if pay double the price mentioned on expedia for our required dates. No help to bring our luggage to reception in snowfall. Too many stairs with small kids and no support. Its hard to sit ok toilets. Broken toilet. Good breakfast. Not Recommended for families

Reservation staff is greedy and not helpful at all. We booked and paid 3 nights, due to our flight issues we requested to move to dates by 2 days. They asked us to pay twice the price. Al though on expedia, it was same price. Bathroom is very small, specially toilet. Fire exit doors in our room. No window, so either open the door or no air. Breakfast was very good. No help to bring luggage from car to reception in terrible weather conditions with small kids. I don’t know how they have high rating.

Enige punt dat aandacht mag hebben is de netheid in de kamers. Er mag beter worden stofgezogen. Wij verbleven met 5 personen en er lag maar 3 handdoeken. Daarnaast mogen de temperaturen in het gebouw ook best lager.

Oda temiz, ferah, konforlu ve sıcaktı. Odanın tavanı yüksekti. Otelin konumu çok merkezi. Erzurum Kalesi ve merkezdeki diğer tarihi yerlere 8-10 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Kahvaltı çok iyiydi. Çok fazla çeşit vardı. Tüm çeşitler taze ve lezzetliydi. Erzurum’a tekrar gelsem bu otelde kalırım. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central. You can go to historical places on foot. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. the rooms were hot. You can stay safely.

Ein schönes Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Die ruhigen Zimmer waren zweckmäßig und sauber mit schönem Bad. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und ging flexibel auch auf Wünsche ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt und geben eine unbedingte Empfehlung ab.

Şehir merkezinde kalinabilecek, temiz, düzgün ve konumu itibariyle ideal bir otel. Otel bünyesinde olan restoranı da özellikle künefe konusunda çok başarılı. Tek eksi yanı restoranda sigara içilebilen bölüm ile içilmeyen bölüm tam ayrılmamış. İster istemez yoğun sigara içildiğinde etkiliyor. Onun dışında personelde gayet ilgili ve yardim severdi. Merkezde kalmayi ve şehri gezerek lokantlarını denemeyi tercih eden bir kayakçı olarak kesinlikle tekrar kalabileceğim bir otel.
