"Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone."

"This beautiful old ottoman hotel is beautiful. The rooms are quite basic but very clean and comfortable. The aircon was brilliant (it was very hot while we were in Safranbolu) and we had a lovely view from our room. The buffet breakfast was a fairly typical Turkish breakfast with plentiful options and we were very satisfied with it. The location is fantastic with jus a short walk to all the action. We only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been longer . If we are ever lucky enough to...
