"Ok the room was clean and spacious. Large bed stupid little pillows. Tried on a few occasions to call front desk it just rang and rang no answer. I would stay there again. But I’ll say what I say to every hotel that I stay at. 1. If you’re going to bill me two hundred dollars plus a night, your bed should be at a minimum as comfortable as my bed at home. This is never the case hotel beds are grossly uncomfortable their pillows suck bad and there is never enough pillows. There shower heads never put out enough water for a good shower, hotel soap is a health hazard as is their shampoo always too harsh. What is it with sugar in these hotels it’s like it’s gold dust most people like sugar in their coffee and tea so stop rationing it give us sugar and enough with the non dairy creamer the powder we don’t know what it’s made of you put a fridge in the room put half and half in the fridge for us. Another thing stop adding gratuity to everything, tips are only for good service don’t ask me to pay a 20 % tip before I get the service when that happens to me everyone loses because I just don’t tip anyone then. So in summing up, I’m not saying that this is what the lighthouse hotel is, I liked staying there, but all you hotels have been getting away with this stuff for years 3, 4, 500 a night uncomfortable beds, poor shower amenities, don’t charge me $500 a night and give me cheap soap, ration the sugar, and give me mystery powder. Take heed."

"What a beautiful home! Walking distance of a cafe, a bookstore, thrift shop, Italian restaurant and a grocery store. We enjoyed meeting the locals and walking on the walkway along the beach. The home was in great condition, however we were surprised by the lack of central air. We didn’t need it, Pacifica stayed a perfect 60-70 degrees the whole week, and we loved having the windows open during the days. Would absolutely stay here again."

"It's not easy to find a rental home for a big family reunion. With 10 rooms and 2 very well stocked kitchens, this spot works well! The ocean views and wave sounds are a real treat (we even saw whales) and the assortment of great side trips to San Francisco or along the coast are amazing. The house is tastefully decorated and the host, Lance, responds quickly to any messages. Parking for many cars was easy between the spots on site and on street parking. The area is inherently foggy but we saw plenty of sun in the afternoon. Grocery stores are close and well supplied. The dining tables were set for 24 people which was really great. Having 2 dishwashers upstairs was super handy. Being just 15 minutes from SFO is incredible. All in all, it's a great home for good times with a large group!"
