"Bad timing! So many Last minutes booking , we had to wait when we arriver but the staff said " sorry" Strange to pay a CASH ONLY taxe on arrival* even if a small amount* per person. "We didn't get the sea view suite that we booked, which was very unfortunate, but they did give us a free dinner which was excellent, and they also gave us a nice fruit basket. We ended up in a standard room which looked out on to the Medina. It was very noisy outside at night and while the room was beautiful, the bathroom was a big letdown. It had a shower/tub combination with a shower curtain and it was quite awful. The hotel itself is spectacular and in a nice location for exploring the Medina. The restaurant and rooftop terrace are very nice, and the food was excellent. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you get an upgraded room. "

"The villa was so exotic and magical. We loved having coffee in the great room, in the garden or on our private deck. The only downside of the villa was some of the outside street noise in the evening- till midnight. Suggest noise canceling ear buds"
