Room was great, did an upgrade to superior and it was massive. Seating room, tv, fridge, microwave. Breakfast was functional. Wifi good. Most staff were great, one was a bit distant..... The location is great though. Nothing special to look at ax a hotel but it is very well placed. 300 yards from a real quiet beach (turtle beach in season). 24hr supermarket across the road. 10 min walk to main street for bars and restaurants. Best of all, it is just minutes walk to Bebo's cafe/restaurant. Puerto Rican food, great prices, lovely staff. Open morning to evening. You can get an Uber in to old San Juan for under $10. Recommend this place highly for somewhere not in old San Juan.

This hotel is horrible nice aesthetic but the service is terrible. We booked this hotel and wasn’t aware that they were having problems with the generator. Hotel didn’t send us a notice or a email regarding the issues they were having with the building we found out from other residents that this has been an occurring issue for 3 days prior to our arrival. When we arrived we were told about this issue and was also told that the problem will be solved and we can still be able to access our room and they still took a deposit from us which is unacceptable because they had to evacuate the building within minutes of them just taking a deposit from us because we then had to wait for the deposit to refund back to our card which will take days. They also didn’t provide us any resolution and told us to contact Expedia.
