This is a great cabin for a cozy couple or a small group of friends with a clean modern and convenient private hot tub and plenty of room for activities.
This warm, inviting, roomy and truly spotless cabin is close to the park and downtown. We had a nice 3 night stay with our pups and enjoyed meeting the "neighbors" (elk) wandering around the property. Would stay here again.
property was very clean and updated inside. The outside of the cabin could be updated more. Accessibility to town and restaurants was great. Communication with property owners was excellent.
Very cozy cabin with more space than what we expected. Very clean and well kept. Owners were very responsive and had everything prepared and great communication. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice cozy cabin with great scenery.
This was a great cabin in a wonderful location to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was very clean and roomy. The only complaint we had was the couches were not very comfortable for us but we were not really sitting around much so it wasn’t a big deal. Check in and out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced and that was nice too.
Great location for a vacation full of hiking & adventure in RMNP. The hot tub was an amazing way to relax sore muscles and kitchen was handy for the nights we wanted to stay in. One suggestion is that the living room furniture was not very comfortable & could use an update. Other than that, wonderful experience!
We had a nice stay. The unit was more spacious than I expected based on the photos. It is definitely dated- especially the bathroom shower but we expected that. The hot tub was really nice and clean. The best part was that I called the morning of and was given an early check in. That was really appreciated. The location is great for RMNP and not far from downtown either.
We really loved staying at the cabin. It was so cozy, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Very relaxing and needed after the holidays. Only things we noticed for improvement would be the lighting needs to be changed (the kitchen had no active lights for cooking) and the faux leather sofa was not the most comfiest. Kinda hard and springy. Overall, we had a great time and loved the proximity to the park and downtown. Thank you again!
This rental was lovely and just three miles from one of the entries to Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin was spotlessly clean, spacious, quiet, and convenient to both the park and the town of Estes Park for groceries, laundry, dining. Although the complex was near the road, it was very quiet.
This unit was perfect for me and my husband for our one week visit to the park. There was plenty of space for the two of us and would easily accommodate two couples or a family with a couple of children. There was plenty of dinnerware and a great assortment of cookware to make anything from the simplest to the more elaborate meals. Also, lovely, modern, clean, working appliances.
Communication was thorough and easy during the booking process, prior to arrival, and during our stay. The bull elk outside our kitchen window as we prepared dinner one evening was a bonus and quiet and quite an unexpected thrill! We agreed that if we were to return to the area for another visit, we would love to stay here again.
Nice, but needs some updating of furniture & dishes
This property was very conveniently located right between RMNP and downtown Estes Park. Property was clean and quite spacious, especially the huge bathroom. Hot tub was also very nice and a great place to relax after a full day of hiking & exploring. The only downside was that the living room furniture (couch bed and futon) is very broken down, and not comfortable as a couch or as a pullout bed--was very broken down with springs poking through. The other issue was that there were very few pots & pans and limited dishes as well. There was not even a pizza pan and barely any spatulas. This was a challenge, even for making a quick lunch for our family. Also be advised that there is no air conditioning, but this was manageable and communicated in the listing ahead of our renting.
We were very impressed by the new inside of the unit. It is modern, clean and beautiful. The hot tub is huge and clean. The kitchen has most everything you need. There are ample towels and they are big and absorbent. Everything is just roomy and nice! We appreciated the fans, which worked best when put in the window. We were glad we brought a couple ourselves because we needed them. The location was out of the way but so close to everything- town, RMNP.
There were just a few bumps in the road- we were given the wrong code for the hot tub. We called the office and they told us the same (wrong) number and to just pull on it harder (!). They sent maintenance who told us the correct number. Also there is a 6-8” gap between the pavement and the hot tub. The step that leads up to the tub tips if you don’t stand on the right spot. My mom almost fell and I slightly turned my ankle. The step should be bolted down or the gap fixed.
The lighting is very low. About half of the bulbs were burnt out, but even then it just needed more lighting. It was hard to see at night especially.
The ceiling fans were not weighted properly so when turned on high they shook disturbingly as though they would break.
Again, I stand behind my solid rating- none of these things outweighed the positives. This is a great space and we would stay again!!!
The inside of the property was very nice. The hot tub as advertised was privatge but it was in a very pubic place behind the utility shed. These was not a patio
6 minutes from downtown, 4 minutes to RMNP. Views in the background. Hot tub was perfectly maintained and fantastic to have after a day of hiking. Not directly on the river but just right across the street.
