This was a quaint facility, convenient to the town of Estes Park. The staff was pleasant, considerate and helpful. The proximity to highway 7 is pretty close allowing for quite a bit of traffic noise but it didn’t seem to be too much of an issue after midnight. Comfortable beds and nice, clean rooms made this a nice stay!
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and not our last. Staff was terrific. Dated rooms but very clean and out of the hustle and bustle of the city stuff. Convenient to the entrance to RMNP.
We stayed in two rooms for four nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable most of the time. They didn’t have AC. The property advertised free breakfast but there was hardly any choice. Milk was bad on the first day but it couldn’t be replaced upon request. There were a few cup cakes and croissants the first day but were not replenished during rest of our stay. Coffee was not warm enough but it was not remade upon request. We skipped breakfast on our last day. The people working there were however quite friendly.
The property is older and can stand to be updated but you can't beat the location. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.
Great little motel. Room was very clean, roomy, and properly casual. Front desk folks were helpful and nice.
Nothing fancy, but certainly nothing gross. Would stay again in a minute!
Awesome motel! Super cute, pool and hot tub are great! Rooms are huge. A little expensive but we stayed on a weekend in the summer, so I suppose that is why

Good location and easy parking. Pleasant staff interaction. Comfortable bed. Good in room coffee. Ground level for easy luggage transfer. It's a basic 1960s era single story drive-up motel. Perfectly adequate though seriously overpriced (that could simply be Estes Park standard). Musty smell in room, road noise, beetle in bathroom, very loud AC fan. Breakfast is cereal.
If you’re looking for a charming, clean and comfortable place to stay that isn’t a cookie cutter place, this is it. I’ve lived in Estes Park prior and Saddle and Surrey has always had a great reputation for comfort and cleanliness. The room decor was eclectic, but I absolutely loved it. There isn’t a negative things I can say about S&S.
This was our second time staying at this property. It is very clean and the staff is amazing. We love the rustic and quaint atmosphere of this motel. It reminds me of when I travelled as a child. I highly recommend Saddle and Surrey and we will be staying there again when we visit Estes Park!
The motel is old but it is well maintained. It is out of town a mile or so, which was nice. The highway is not very busy so it is fairly quiet and peaceful. The family that runs it does a good job. Breakfast was very minimal but then coffee was good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The room was clean, coffee pot provided as was iron for pressing. It was quiet, safe and staff were friendly. I didn't go to the pool but it looked nice. Bed was comfortable, had a couch, small table and two chairs. I would recommend it to my family and to you.
Spur of the moment trip from COS and found this cute and cozy place on Memorial day weekend at a very reasonable rate. Room was clean, and staff was very friendly. Looking forward to staying again later this summer!
