"We could have arrived with nothing - everything was there! Our lovely hosts were very flexible with our arrival time and very helpful when we got there. The appartment is very well equipped and the view over the lake just stunning! Absolutely recommendable! "

We were lucky there were no other guests for our first three nights as when they did arrive we had to leave the relaxing veranda because they polluted our atmosphere with their smoking. "This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
