Cayucos Beach Inn

6/10 Okay

"I stayed Monday Through Friday. The room was pretty clean but I didn't like the indoor/outdoor carpet. It didn't feel clean. The staff was good. No complaints really. The first night the internet went up and down and the next day I complained about it and I didn't have a problem after that. I have to admit though that when it was working it was the fastest internet I have ever seen in any motel. Parking was great, I got to park in front of my room every day. The car charger was down, but that wasn't that big a deal because they charge $20 to use it. That would be ok if I had a Tesla, but I don't. So, for me with a PHEV $20 to charge isn't worth it. Oh, and it was out of order anyway. They redid the rooms, but they didn't replace the mattressses because, the Mattresses were way too soft. The biggest plus about this place is it's dog friendly. I like having a doggy park right next to the room on the property. That way I can take fido out without having to walk all over town. AND they have doggy poo bags so you can pick up after your dog. Great idea."

"It was a great place to stay. The staff were so kind from the minute we entered the hotel. The room was large and had everything we could need (and more!-). The room came with dishes, a full size fridge, a dishwasher (!) etc. The sheets were so soft and dreamy. The pool area was great, there was even a place to bbq! The free breakfast had great hours (available 6-10am) and fairly tasty. However, the coffee was terrible, but that is an easy fix for the hotel! The gym looked clean and well appointed, there was laundry available, lots of cozy outside places to sit and enjoy a fire, etc. We really had a nice stay."

"I really enjoyed my stay! Everything is brand new. The decor is really nice, and very inviting. The bed was sooooo comfortable, I drifted right off to sleep. Everything worked, everything is new, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and efficient. 10/10 would book again!"

"What a wonderful place to stay at! We have been at Allegretto many times, however every time we stay there, it gets more and more beautiful to . The staff is excellent, the pool and spa are wonderful, the environment and all the historical features are exceptional. It is close to all the wineries that you want to visit and we can’t wait to go back there next year with friends and family. See you soon Allegretto hotel."

"The hotel is less than a year old, so everything is fresh & sparkling. A nice lounge and restaurant are on-site. The only thing that was misrepresented is microwaves are only available in the Suite rooms. A common area microwave is available in the lobby to use. Wi-Fi info was not given at check-in."

"I really like the staff. They were very helpful. Very very nice. The food in the donkey restaurant was excellent amazing food. I was very surprised about that but very happy. Also, I did not like the fact that you had to pay for parking overnight and the place needs to be renovated the rooms were kinda run down a little bit old and they need to put some sort of a air freshener throughout the hotel because it kind of smelled a little musty, but overall, it was very nice. The staff was excellent."
