"We had a wonderful overnight stay at Beamish Park Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and our room was a deluxe one - large size with sofa as well as large king size + bed. There is plenty of parking and the location is both rural and needs just a short journey to Newcastle city centre. Dinner was of incredibly high quality. Chef is very talented and the varied menu caters for all tastes including vegan/vegetarian and Gluten free needs. The wine list also was excellent. Breakfast also was included in the room rate and comprised a continental buffet as well as a cooked breakfast prepared to order. The hotel is idealfor weddings too and contains an area for the ceremony. The price for the room and also the dinner was extremely good value. This was our first visit but it will not be the last."
