Mother-in-law Suite Close to Autzen/Hayward!

450+ square foot Mother-in-law suite with private access and private full bath. We are located in a beautiful, quiet, Eugene neighborhood 1.5 miles to downtown, Autzen Stadium/Hayward Field/University of Oregon, and less than 1 mile from hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, golf course, and public transportation. Off-street parking in our private driveway.

The space

Two queen-size pillow top beds with season-appropriate linens. Wet bar stocked with microwave, coffee pot, mini-fridge/freezer, glassware, plates, and silverware. Dining table for 4, a fullsize couch and 55-inch flat screen TV with Comcast X1 digital cable and Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu streaming TV/movies. Towels, basic toiletries, coffee, and a few snacks are provided. You have access to washing machine and dryer if needed. The back yard, patio, firepit, and hot tub are shared spaces.

I often work from home on weekdays so I am available for questions or recommendations if you wish, however I am generally out of sight. Your door has a unique access code so late arrivals are not an issue. Please ask about early check-in as we can often accommodate.

Perfect stay and location!

We booked this place due to its features and the proximity to our family, who we were visiting. The place was clean, nicely appointed and the hosts were friendly and accomodating. The hot tub was so amazing! We'll definitely stay there again.

Owners, Location, Clean & Comfortable = Perfect Stay

Location is great, a quiet street very close to restaurants, Trader Joes, Starbucks, ice cream & shopping! CLEAN! Comfortable beds, spacious in its lay out, good shower and so well appointed with everything you may have forgotten to pack, plus generous snacks! Sonya and Darren are wonderful hosts. Next time I am in Eugene I will try to book here first.

Best place to stay while visiting McDonald theater for a show

Host was super kind and generous. Woke up and got into the hot tub and lived my best life. Everything i could possibly need was provided. So grateful ! 10/10 recommend? Will definitely be coming back in the future

Short but sweet stay in Eugene

We had a lovely time at the Cal Young studio! After a week of camping at Crater Lake and the Oregon Dunes, it was just the respite we needed before heading home to Seattle. It’s a cozy place and was perfect for our family of four. And, it was so close to the University of Oregon, which we loved walking through while in town. Highly recommend staying at Cal Young!!

Great Eugene Respite

Simply the best!

After nearly staying here nearly a dozen times over the last few years, we continue to be amazed what we find each time. The owners have thought of every small detail you may need during your stay. From ibuprofen to baby wipes. This is and will continue to be my favorite place to stay when we visit Eugene. We absolutely adore the hosts. They are the best and truly want you to enjoy and relax during your stay there.

World's Best Stay in Eugene

If you are looking for a place to stay in Eugene, stay here! It's clean, comfortable, in a safe neighborhood, close to everything, and it has everything you could need for a short, or long visit. The hosts are quite possibly some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and will help if you are looking for things to do, places to eat, or are just wanting to visit while sitting on their patio in their beautiful backyard. Great place in a quiet neighborhood, but easy to access downtown and U of O campus and sporting events. Super spacious and a great layout with the 2 queens and big couch. Sonya was responsive and the little goodies they left were an added bonus. Would definitely come back on another trip to Eugene!

Favorite Eugene place

We continue to be thankful for finding this gem in Eugene. It is so conveniently located near our Duck. As always, the owners are very quick with.
