Come and relax by the fire on the edge of the Redwood National Forest just minutes from the beach! You'll fall in love with our luxuriously appointed contemporary retreat. This not-so-tiny custom prefab is surrounded by giant Redwoods, ivy and ferns in a historic scenic location. Loaded with natural light, leather, hardwoods, granite and art, this coastal home tucked into the forest boasts two bedrooms and a sleeping loft as well as a hot tub and fireplace for those cooler romantic nights.

House was exactly as described and had everything we needed during our week long stay. The bedroom windows did not have any blinds or curtains, but it didn't bother us. Over all we were satisfied in our decision to stay at the " In the heart of the Redwood Forest"!

Well appointed, spacious and clean. Easy drive to state and national parks. Beautiful wooded backyard with deck, fire pit and hot tub I booked through Expedia. Make sure you also have a VRBO app or account if you book through Expedia. That is how the property manager communicates check in procedure. She communicates check in info well in advance but through VRBO. Didn’t have the app or VRBO account so I had to contact VRBO customer service to get access instructions. Once that was sorted out, it was a beautiful stay.

Redwood solitude

This is an adorable little pre manufactured mini home that’s been placed in the most serene circumstances just north of the city. It’s a little compact but for two people it had the space that we needed. We were drawn to it initially, by the fact that it had a king bed in an area where that is a very hard thing to find in a vacation home. And the bed did not disappoint. We will be very happy to come back again.

Great location. Central to the parks and minutes away to Cresent City for shopping, dinning etc. It felt like you were staying in the woods. Fireplace was nice touch in the evenings. Hot tub and grill. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice big bath tub. Overall very comfortable and nicely decoarted.

Perfect for us.

Very cute and cozy home. Enjoyed the fire pit outside. Hot tub wasn’t working because of a recent storm but that was no big deal. We spent most of our time exploring. Will definitely stay again.

Wonder Stump

We chose to stay at this property because of the proximity to Jedidiah State Park and prior reviews. When we arrived we found the cabin/house to be clean and cozy. After a long day of exploring the Redwoods we settled down to a fire and some TV. We really enjoyed our time and found our short trip to be relaxing.

Girl’s trip to redwoods

Convenient and quiet setting. Comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Overall clean and well appointed. Coffee, tea and electric kettle all available. Only had body wash, no shampoo. Some of the comforters in the closet had a smell like it wasn’t recently laundered. Everything else was clean though.

Wonderful Stay @ Redwoods!

This was our first trip to the California Redwoods, and the accommodations were fantastic! The home was as-described, and the owner reached out to me as soon as I booked the location to answer questions I had. We were very happy to call this location home-base for the week, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming place to stay!

Perfect location for exploring the Redwoods

The road that the VRBO is on was lined with beautiful Redwoods! What a welcome to the area and VRBO. The VRBO was very clean, nicely decorated, and our favorite part was the hot tub after a day of exploring! The owner was very responsive. I highly recommend this VRBO!
