Lovely house convenient location

This house was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and serious cooking was possible. The location is not far from a lovely park and fairly close to the old town. Our family really enjoyed staying here.

Very nice house, exactly what we needed for our stay

This house was the perfect place for our trip to visit our daughter at Cal Poly Humboldt. There were six adults and the door bedrooms worked perfect for us. The living room is spacious with a big screen tv. The house is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Lots of room for big family with great layout. Good sized fenced yard where toddlers and teens could play cornhole and throw the football. Had every amenity we needed and almost every you wanted. Had a great stay and will look forward to staying here again!

Very nice home with interesting design inside. Everything was just as listed. Communication and check in process easy. Clean and most beds very comfortable. One of the beds in the smaller bedrooms was very firm, perhaps a matress topper might help? Overall a great deal and location. We'd recommend and stay here again.

Henderson is a charming area of Eureka. Walking distance to restaurants and short drive to everything else. Thank you for having a well organized kitchen as I like to cook some meals for the family.

Comfy place to unwind and recharge

4 of us celebrating our 80th birthdays on the north coast. The house is well designed to relax and enjoy. Spaces to be together yet roomy enough to take a quiet break. Loved the deck. Played a lot of games at the dining room table. Watched a movie one night on the big screen. Life was good.

Henderson Haven Review

House was clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. House had interesting furniture, nice flooring, big screen TV and Japanese art. Front door lock was difficult from the start, when we needed help to get in the house. Apparently, the lock needed battery replacement, which Jen helped with. Even after that, it sometimes took a number of attempts to unlock the door. Very awkward lock. Jen was professional and timely once we contacted her by phone. House was always too warm when we returned from a day of activities. It has no A/C and we needed to open windows at night to cool it down from 77 degrees. Thermostat had no effect on temperature in the house. House seems to have been made for tall people. Mirror in one bathroom was too high for an average person to see themselves in. Also, desk counter in hall was very high to sit at.

Spacious and Nice

Very nice, remodeled house with plenty of space. Great for a weekend stay for a family of 4. A few minor issues with the thermostat (the back bedroom was very cold and the thermostat rolled over at night). But, they were not major. Easy check and good communication. Walkable to coffee, stores and restaurants. Overall a great experience.

Great Place!!

This house was great!! It was clean and nicely put together. There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Huge master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and two other rooms with queen beds as well. One of the rooms has a single bed. One of the rooms has access to the common bathroom which is really nice. We were very happy with our stay here and it will be our go-to house when we stay in Eureka. It's in a great neighborhood that is within walking distance of Rite Aid, bakeries, and a small bar. Once our house was cleaned they let us know so we could check in early. It's a spacious house and it has a little backyard with outdoor dining or lounging. It's not too far from the bay and downtown.

Cozy Beautiful Property

This was a great property for our group of 9 with kids. The house was very cozy and wonderful to hang out together at the end of the day. The landscaping around the house made sitting on the patio while grilling a treat. We would stay here again. Property management was quick to respond when we had questions.
