Absolutely stunning property! The cottage has everything you need and was nicely decorated & very clean. Comfortable bed & nice linens. The gardens were such a fabulous surprise! Tom & Tom were so enjoyable to visit with. The views and close proximity to the beach was the cherry on top of our stay.

Beautiful Stay near Luffenholtz

The cottage is just across the road from the Luffenholtz beach access. Tom was very friendly and encouraged us to explore their property. The cottage is very private and quiet and next to the main house on the hillside surrounded by beautiful landscaping and plants. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and felt private from property owner. Loved all the windows which made the space feel very open. Host was friendly. Great location for hiking the redwoods.

The grounds are fantastic! The owners could charge admission just for the flowers. Stand in one place and look at the ocean. Move a few feet and sit in a chair beside a flowing stream. We are repeat visitors for the past 12 years.

The loft was lovely. It was foggy Friday night but on Saturday night the fog cleared and we were able to see the stars through the moonroof so we went outside and sat in Adirondack chairs and looked at the stars. Sunday morning before we left we took a walk through your beautiful garden is very peaceful. Thank you so much for a beautiful place to stay on the coast.

Lovely Seaside Cottage

This was a perfect place for a dual get-away weekend and wedding celebration. Loved hearing the ocean waves in the morning while on the deck and admiring the natural beauty of this magnificent part of California!

Luffenholtz Delight

Great location! 2miles to Trinidad and 103 steps to Luffenholtz beach. Owners are a delight and the grounds are immaculate! We divided our time between sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean, walking along the beach, birding and visiting historic sights in the area.

Beautiful respite near the sea

Fabulous private location just across the road from a secluded beach. Comfortable and clean with nice furnishings. Gorgeous property! The sound of the nearby creek and ocean is so relaxing! Just south of the town of Trinidad with easy access to the 101 as well to explore the redwoods.

Good communication laid out the expectations. Easy check-in. Great location across the street from the beach. We very briefly lost power, but they have a back up generator, which was great!

An absolute gem

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The property has beautiful gardens and you are steps from the beach. Tom and Tom were incredibly welcoming, responsive and on point with their recommendations for restaurants and coffee. We loved their dog, Lucy, who is super sweet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was very clean. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful retreat, this is the spot!

Sound of the surf from room.

Excellent location. Away from town but very short drive to restaurants and grocery. You could hear the sound of the surf from the room. Short but steep walk to the beach. Owners were very helpful when I had a problem with my car. An excellent stay. Would highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, quiet cottage in the woods but near the waves. So special!

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this lovely beach cottage. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We were nestled in the trees but could hear the waves nearby. Such a nice experience! Excellent Stay!

Beautiful studio cottage... very comfortable and well furnished. Kitchen has plenty of cooking tools and dishware. Property and gardens are amazing! This is just steps from one of the best beaches on the Humboldt coast. Hosts are very friendly and greeted me as I arrived. Thanks so much!

Relaxing

This was exactly what we wanted. A beautiful few and peace and quite at the end of the day! The place is stunning with all the beautiful plants. Our few of the ocean from the beautiful front lawn was amazing. Access to the beach was easy. Trinidad is a quiet little town. We loved it here

The property is beautiful with gardens and paths leading throughout and nice views. Short walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Cottage was very nice. The ocean and the creek could be heard. Dark sky can be viewed from the cottage deck.

Spectacular

This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely cottage, super comfortable and clean! The hosts are very friendly but completely respect your privacy. Lucy their dog is super sweet, she just can't resist welcoming you! It is so quite and relaxing. The little secret garden is spectacular, a wonderful place for a private picnic or quite reading. We will visit again!
