"We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeview studio during our recent stay in Switzerland. The view looking out the windows of the apartment was absolutely stunning. "We feel like we hit the lottery with this rental. It was bigger than expected with a long row of big windows opening onto a square with the lake just beyond. It was such a treat to let the fresh air in and have a cup of coffee by the window. The apartment is in the 2nd floor so you feel removed enough from the bustle of the town. The kids took advantage of the toys provided and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus the laundry helped us travel light. The town of Rapperswil is so charming....

Swiss Holiday Park Resort

"We rented an apartment. The apartment does not come with made up beds. The resort charges an extra CHF 10 per bed to make it. The towels are also not included and an additional CHF 10. When we arrived I was honestly very annoyed by all the additional fees. We also assumed that all the amenities are included, but they are not. Extra charges for horse back riding, go cart, high ropes.. the only thing that was included was the pool, but again the towels for the pool cost extra. They also expect you to take the trash out, strip the beds and clean the dishes before you leave. The restaurant Panorama is very overpriced and the food quality does not align with the price. I would recommend NOT eating at that restaurant. Now to the things we did enjoy. The kids loved Tom’s indoor play area. Super fun for my 1 and 5 year old. The pool area was amazing for the kids and we spent several whole days just in the pool area. The apartment was great with kids. We stopped at Aldi in town and got groceries. It was way easier with the kids to cook breakfast and the occasional lunch in the room. Keep in mind the kitchen in the apartment is very sparsely stocked. We had salt and pepper, some utensils, plates and cups. While there is a coffee maker, the nespresso pods are not included. I would stay here again, but definitely plan on eating dinner in Brunnen (Haddock was our favorite restaurant). And plan on bringing groceries."

"Modern, refined, and exceptionally well designed, Stoos Lodge is a gem. If you’re coming to Stoos, chances are you’re here to hike the famous ridge trail. Keep in mind that completing the route in a single day requires five chairlift rides, making Stoos Lodge the perfect place to recharge before or after your hike. One of the best parts of staying here is that Stoos transforms in the evening. Most of the day visitors leave by around 5:00 PM, and the village becomes peaceful and relaxing. The facilities, rooms (yes, they have air conditioning), restaurant, and Blue Bar were all excellent. If it’s available, I highly recommend Room 510. It features an in-room sauna, multiple windows with great natural light, and one of the best room layouts I’ve stayed in. One final tip: take the chairlift back up the mountain for sunset. The views are spectacular, and it’s absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended."
